I especially like how your fusing of the two is coming across more Rom-ish than Taylor. Most Worm character fusings I've read make it Taylor, whom quickly gets over the fusing and more or less is just herself with an alt power. You are showing a character who is outwardly Rom with flashes of Taylor's influence. Considering how open Bloodbourne is to interpretation, you could very well be making a completely original character. Just no way to tell how Rom really was beyond a few snippets... I like it!

Thanks for the chapter! Little advice, if possible I think it's better to make chapters at least above 1k words each, because on this site it's easy to spot ( you get number of chapters and total word count and divide) and at least for me, really short chapters connect to low quality (because in my expirience a lot of times really short chapters ( 1k words) do in fact have low quality).
