Soooo, he does have the power... you could have used it earlier than this and not make some very weird stuff happen to make sure the plot was the same, what was the point of it? Really as far it is understood he had more chances of dying at the first arc since he was a potato waiting to die and all but didnt.

You know Finn, some dude of the sequels that had potential and what not, it’s not exactly the same but this dude is very borderline a ( spent the last movie screaming the word ray), spend the hole fic anguishing on his two friends and raven or now simping for emilia.
You really gotta give him something, it’s like he’s a subaru, at the same time though he’s incompetent at times when it’s convinient and lucky when Subaru is supposed to died since apparently he’s doesn’t have return by death, all of that I assume to fit the original plot, the problem with that is that the Mc is not as helpless as subaru só failing like him smears the mc too much and he can’t have Subaru’s advantages either so a force of god (authors plot convinince) has to help him out at those, the only way I see out of it is derailing from the canon plot soon and getting creative.
