Damn, I was excited for this story, but now it seems that it is not for me. I wished more was disclosed in the first chapter.
Romance is, unfortunately, a huge turn off. The reason why shounen, especially One Piece, works is that romance is not a focus or nonexistent—harems are absolutely stupid.
Pity that you are going to add an OC to his crew; I have learned to hate them. The best OCs are minor and/or temporary.

Looks alright, even if some spell checking might be in order, but will there be romance in this? In my experience, a fanfiction that’s too friendship-oriented can be pretty boring almost immediately. I’m not against the concept of friendship, but romance goes a long way, especially when it involves the main character. Also, will Luffy’s recruit more crew members than in canon and how fare in the canonical story are you?
