Well what do you know, you can buy love...I mean a Devil’s Fruit. :P Interesting concept for Nami’s fruit, by the way. Given the white and gold color I’m assuming it will be a thunder/lightning related mythical Sky Bull of some type.
So, was it just me or was something happening there between Zoro and Tashigi? And what kind of butterfly effect will this have when both Smoker and Tashigi have a pleasant view of the Straw Hat Not-Yet Pirates to start with. The changes are going to be coming I’m sure. Though I’m still curious if Luffy will be getting a Devil’s fruit at all or if he’ll still get the his original fruit, just later on. I wonder what it was that Ana told him about the DFs as well. So many questions, and so much to look forward too (whispers: like some more LuNa background moments. In normal voice: Yeah, what he said :P )

Kreig must PAY! Well that escalated quickly. And I love it. Nice! Also, hoping that little comment about Nojiko wanting to know what Nami does to keep Luffy in check does show up later. It sounds like it will be a funny conversation if nothing else.
I’ve also said it before and I’ll say it again, I love the dynamic you have going between Luffy and Nami. I’m still hoping for that little sprinkle of romance, but regardless it’s well written and I truly hope you keep it going. Can’t wait for more!

Once again, loved the flow on this one. Character development is one of, if not the most important aspect of story telling, in my opinion, and chapters like this hit the nail on the head. I don’t know if you intended it, or it’s just me, but I love the vibe going on between Luffy and Nami. The synergy is just off the charts, but it’s done in a very logical, reasonable, and believable way. It’s like they’re the dynamic duo, or they’re already married, either one really or even both. I also loved Luffy’s little anti-hero rant, very nice.

Why Ana?! WHY?!...
Wow, that was good. It takes some finesse to get people to care about an OC, but congrats this gave me the feels. Yeah, OC villains at this stage of the game would be unnecessary so good choice not using them. Still, holding out for that dash of LuNa, but we’ve got time. It’s still the East Blue after all, and in any case love how things are flowing so far. I’m also curious if Luffy is ever going to get a Fruit or if you intended for him to remain without one. In any case it working well so far and looking forward to more!

Nice flow here, very nicely paced. Sometimes you need details and other times you don’t. This was one of the times you didn’t and so it went smoothly. I am liking how this is ramping up and we’re still in the east blue. I’m looking forward to seeing how Luffy’s title of hero effects other characters later on once he becomes a pirate?

This was really good. Very well written. I like where it’s heading and it still feels believable even with Luffy fruitless. I wonder if you’ll have him pickup the staff(pipe) under Nami’s influence (or in order to help her grow stronger too) in memory of Sabo.
I respect that romance will just be a background thing. With One Piece, that’s how it should be. That said I will throw my hat in the ring and say that I really hope you do throw some LuNa in there over time. Just a bit here and there will give more character development and honestly, it’s one of my favorite pairings. Again excellent work though! Can’t wait for more!

Telling Vivi's perspective in this chapter right I feel. One thing I'm worried about is the future fights. Like the tension in them won't feel as strong cause crew is stronger then canon mainly ones who joined Luffy when he was king. Zoro, Nami, and Sanji it will feel hard believing their fights will be serious when already overcome wall of learning Haki. Luffy I can feel tension in those monumental fights still cause Crocodile even if Luffy has Armament Haki can't do it all over his body and Crocodile can suck the water out of him leaving Luffy a husk. But the other three I'll have trouble feeling like that in their fights. Will you have to make their opponents stronger or just throw obstacles in them that Haki can't solve like Sanji won't hurt ladies?

the chapter was interesting from vivis point of view. further helped with details gained by the extended east blue arc. taking a second to think, will other kingdoms recognize luffy?
