So you have completely forgotten about lyra, pushed what could have been some of the most interesting chapters about her teaching into the bin, and completely fucked over her romance that you have been hinting about since the start. Honestly, the only reason i am still reading this is the hope you will correct the above, but i guess that will be too much to ask for. Guess i will be dropping this in the next few chapters. An absolute disappointment given how this novel started.

I tell you, one of the many things that ruins a fanfic is when an writer decides to add in their own overarching plot that eventually takes over the original work. And that is exactly whats going on here. This otherworldly bullshit is usurping the original plot, the reason we came to read this. It started well, dont get me wrong, but then you managed to completely and utterly trash it.
The unspeakable as some otherworldly organisation that is running about combatting Erdrich shit? What were you thinking? And how this all ties into the main characters who have gone from interesting and amusing mc’s to what, depressed and pathetic initiations of who they were, creating no desire to read on about their now frankly pathetic and dull interactions with the world. Especially since the main plot they had been working towards is now becoming irrelevant as there is the writer created universal threat now coming to kill them all. Its almost like you forgot you were writing a fanfic and decided to do your own thing and neglect the original. Completely and utterly disappointing.
