“and both of them remained floating in an empty universe where the only everyday & eternal reality was love...” These two are making me wax poetic. I came to appreciate Señor García Márquez much later in life but he’s kinda great.
For some absurd reason that I myself am unsure of, I’ve always loved this line: “and they grew to be so happy that even when they were two worn-out people they kept on blooming like little children and playing together like dogs.” It always made me laugh. Never in 100 years of...quarantine, did I ever imagine actually being able to insert the quote in any conversation. It would have been so pretentious *smirk*.
Strawberry covered sardines? I would rather suck on a festering, purulent, gangrenous wound.
I would’ve had inappropriate...touching (wink) if Castle were incapacitated by alcohol, but it’s crazy sweet that she wanted their first kiss to be real, for both to be 100% present.
I adore the last sentences.
