Honestly, I really hope that you take Subaru from arc 9 instead of arc 6. As the mind exploding horror that is arc 7 needs to be explored. I know that's probably way later down the line than you were planning but having a sealed Subaru be the one that wakes up would be amazingly dramatic.

I hope the director gives Subaru and his family the opportunity to decide whether or not they want to return to their world, because the world of Re:Zero does not deserve Subaru or his family. They are not obligated and should not solve the problems of a horrible world like that, much less the personal problems of morally questionable people who hurt their son in different ways.
The world of Re:zero and its population can go fuck themselves and leave the wonderful Natsuki family alone!

Wooohooo season 2! Awesome job as always, excited to see more. Especially Petra punching subura for how used her handkerchief and then thanked her for it lol. Loved the idea of adding his parents its gonna be great for the 1st trial, feel bad for garf being the only one to have a bad side shown to subura’s parents tho oof. Lots of dialogue options especially with the witches being shown. Seriously tho you know how to do the characters justice looking forward to more!

I hope you don’t include the What If stories. I think that after season 2 it would just be needslesly cruel to the cast and Subaru. They don’t effect the main story in any way and it would essentially be a trauma congaline for the sake of a trauma congaline. I hope he just wakes up after season 2.

No worries on the long wait man. This stuff takes time and irl stuff is much more important. You have an amazing thing here and I wouldn't want it to become something that's held you back in life. With all that said I am waiting eagerly but patiently for continuation of the story. There have been quite a few times where I've stayed up till like 4am re-reading (almost made me late from my lunch at work one time as well) and I'm sure the future installments will be just as good.
