I loved Chloe’s reference to a gorilla throwing exploding bananas! There was a 1990 video game called GORILLAS, written in QBasic for the now-ancient MS-DOS 5 operating system, where two players control gorillas tossing exploding bananas at each other in a New York-like skyline. If a banana struck a gorilla—even its own gorilla—he exploded, and the other player scored a point. There’s a Wikipedia article:

I’m sure reviews are really late by now but I still wanted to give feedback which I admit might be a little biased. All in all, I think the story was good enough to keep me reading even after this review.
I just think that sometimes the story is written for the author’s own satisfaction instead of truly considering the reactions of characters based on their own traits, like everyone adoring Ladybug and always apologizing to her (sometimes unnecessarily) or gushing about how awesome she is. I know there are occasions where Marinette apologizes, gets embarrased, or teased, but I feel like Adrien is only ever teased or embarrased and never really appreciated for his own contributions to defeating the akuma, though I will acknowledge the show’s own lack of giving Cat Noir an actual moment where he does something of real importance.
There is also the matter of the entire class repeatedly talking Chloe down when she does something tremendously stupid in the episode they are watching which happened in the past even after she apologized and looked genuinely ashamed as you wrote. I know she technically didn’t really apologize to the class for being an asshole but I just don’t think that the class, being as they are super nice and forgiving and all, would keep on ridiculing Chloe when they see she feels sorry. I’m definitely not saying they should’ve forgiven her, I just think they would have let Chloe sulk on her own instead of rubbing salt on the wound repeatedly, which makes me feel as though you just did it to please yourself and let out some rightfully pent up rage.
Being biased when writing your own story is completely fine, but I just wanted to let you know if that wasn’t your intention.
