Giving some comfort and insecurity to Ruby... NIce. A good way to make Ruby the 1 wife. Now I will keep badgering again, Get the man a semblance. Not the ones he takes from character via the gamer or the magic system of the Game, but a Semblance following the lore of RWBY with your own spin. How are you going to solve the Robbery issue of the shop? I can't wait to see how you will get Reid to accumulate Political, economical, military, martial, and intellectual, etc power. P S. Keeping the character in the dark about the gamer system shows you are on the right track, keep it up. Finally, I like how you are trying to humanize Adam, and possibly get him connected to Cinder via Mistral, I still want him beaten brutally and/or dead with Reid taking his Semblance, but good call. NOt everyone is born a monster, time and our environment are also factors that determine if we must be put down.

I like how you changed the whole 'recruit Ruby to carry his stuff during shopping'. When I read that, it was like 'what the hell?!'.
That being said, I was kinda expecting him to somehow hire Ruby to mind the shop, her fighting off Roman and Ozpin then offering her a place in Beacon while recommending Velvet instead to mind the shop. But I see you've chosen to have Salem's spy take her spot in team RWBY... actually, what is it called now? Or are we reading the L as an R?

Feel so bad for ruby :( she needs to spend more time with Reid, that will take her mind off everything (considering the insanity his life is).
