It wasn’t quite as I expected. Mainly because women weren’t allowed in the army back then, I thought Annabeth would be the girl waiting for Percy back home and he would be the price paid for freedom. Though this does work. The military always treats its people like ammo.
Pride is one of the seven deadly sins because it will get you killed. If only Annabeth learned that beforehand.

This is the second fic that's made me cry tonight. Its so beautifully written and stories like this is when I pay the price of being empathetic. My heart and brain feels sorry for someone who doesn't exist and for something that never happened.

This story is sooo good! I guess I knew what was going to happen of Annabeth when I came to know this is about the World War II which is in Percy's POV. It was beautiful, thoughtful and even had humour. Sad for the end, but really liked it! Great like all of your other stories!

For fuck's sake, I knew it was coming... I tried my best to prepare for the inevitable ending but I still managed to shed tears at the end, this was so good and made me cry, there was just a sense of, it's too happy for there to be a happy ending during the middle of a war. As always, I love your work /;
