Well this was just wonderful and so appropriate for the current world we live in. Thanks so much for this Christmas story. It makes us all feel a little better. I just reread you Advent story from 11/30/11. I’m not sure if this was the first one or not but I just loved it. It captured their relationship in such a wonderful way. I know I’m getting corny here but I so love to read good Caskett stories even after all these years. I don’t know what it was about that series that captured my attention and my heart but
it definitely did. I hope great writers such as yourself keep this up. It is a true gift. Thank you for this special Christmas present to Caskett fans everywhere. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year️.

The beginning was definitely very real but then it turned when Kate was able to take Advent off. I guess the pediatrician was right Luke didn't need to talk until he did. Thank you for all your daily Christmas stories. Stay safe.

Yes, these stories have been real. Sometimes a little too real for comfort. Part of the appeal and your skill as a writer is to draw pictures for us in such vivid detail it is as if a moment has been frozen in time and we can pick it up and examine it from every side, look for reflections in the shiny surfaces and fall into the deeply dark ones. We see Kate and Rick more intimately than a one hour (43 minute) show ever could. You always right/write the wrongs and weave together an ending that leaves us sighing with satisfaction. Thank you for doing so once again. You gave us a too real picture of what life might look like for the Castles in 2020. Not always fun, but like the Castles, we are going to make the best of it, look for the moments that save us, and keep going.

Years and years ago I had to stop getting alerts when you published something. Your writing was so good and you wrote so much that I was neglecting my children. Your Advent stories have always been some of my favorites. The Dash and Ellery chapters of this story were like coming home. Thank you.

Had to read this chapter in fits and starts, because of cooking and eating. I love the ingenious ways you wrote for them to use the Advent calendar as a way to give to others and to enhance the holiday. I'm a little surprised about Kate's decision about work. Love Lucas's Christmas surprise.
