Loved this one shot story! Loved the twist with Nathan telling Elizabeth how he felt. So well done!

Oh my goodness - this was just perfect! My heart just ached for Nathan as he thought about Elizabeth being with Lucas while he was out doing rounds. Nathan's confession! Elizabeth's talk with Bill! I love how they met each other in the street - Elizabeth running out without a coat! So incredibly romantic! Thank you for this! I felt like I got an early Christmas present! :-)

I like it! Feelings are acknowledged early on. Nathan knows how she feels about Lucas. There is hope for the future.

A wonderful take on last year’s Christmas special. I LOVED seeing Nathan on his rounds reacting to the lanterns. I always wondered what that could be. You adapted it wonderfully. And, I loved Elizabeth goingto Bill and being that source of good advice for Elizabeth, like Abigail would be. I hope he is the for her and helps her with Nathan, if she needs it. Merry Christmas .

Okay, I like your version of this Christmas *so much better*! If only the show had gone this direction, we could have spent S7 watching Elizabeth try to figure things out while knowing how Nathan felt and working their way together, instead of going through the pain and angst of the triangle. Great job here! I loved every bit of it, especially Nathan's confession of his feelings and that Elizabeth went straight to Bill for comfort and counsel. It was also very realistically written. Elizabeth was still very confused about her feelings at that point and not over Jack, so I think you wrote this very true to character (for all of them). Wonderful job! Loved this.

Sweet! I love your vision of the alternative with Nathan actually being honest! And Elizabeth’s conversation with Bill, how quickly she figured out Nathan was wiring headquarters, and Elizabeth In turn being honest with Nathan. Typical Nathan-style, he sought Elizabeth’s physical comfort (giving her his jacket) and her emotional comfort (giving her time to figure things out! I love it!
