I stopped watching when Billy's version of Jason hit the ground running (nothing against Billy as Jason, I loathed the storyline) but does anyone recall how it is that this version of Jason could declare himself done? I'm sure the different face helped but he was still declaring himself Jason Morgan. The mob and kids is being portrayed sort of realistically on the show right now and in Chrissy's story. The mob presents danger but a greater part of the Jason, Sonny, Carly dynamic is that is a weird chaste little threesome. SBu's Jason has spent his life cleaning up Sonny and Carly's personal messes and being their marriage therapist. Billy's version declared boundaries and no longer ran at their beck and call. No more virtually holding Carly's pee stick or cleaning up Sonny's affairs when he cheated on Carly. Burton's version would have time for his kids if he wasn't so stuck on being Sonny and Carly's personal errand boy.

Aphass is correct. Technically speaking getting out of the mob is a bit more difficult that that deciding you are done. Jason was out when he ran his bike shop, but he also was very young and hadn't been in the mob as long. I'm not sure what angle was used on GH to get BM's version of Jason out. But, the mob was kind glossed over for period of time. All that said, this is the beauty of fanfic, it can be written they way we (or I should say Chrissy) can imagine it.

Jason saying he's quitting the mob might be easier said than done because i think he's quit the mob before and he has always been dragged back if Jason really wants to quit the mob for good this time he may need to cut all ties personal and business with Sonny.

Excellent callback to when Avery was taken by Mike and no one bothered to tell Ava until she read about it on her phone. Carly didn't care that Avery was shot; Ava needs to take Joss' lead and get Avery out of that house before something else happens. Joss said it; when you are a child of Sonny Corinthos, there will always be something else.
I love everything that happened here. I love that Lulu woke up and that Laura was firm and sent Valentin and Nina away. I LOVE that Danny said it out loud that he missed his other dad and that he was around and Jason isn't. I don't even care that Jason is with Elizabeth because she deserves better than Franco :)
