I gotta say, I really like how you added emotion to Mercer and made him not as heartless as he comes across in the movies. It's pretty interesting that he also seems to tie in to this whole mystery.
As for Magnus selling his son, I'm curious as to why he'd do that. Something to find out in future chapters, I suppose.

Well done! I like that this story has a lot of OCs, at least in the beginning regarding where Moira comes from. I like Moira and Charlotte's relationship and the mystery behind Magnus's actions. I'm curious as to where this'll end up.
