Happy Halloween :) I hope you're doing well.

You might like the Finn/Elizabeth scenes on Friday, but I think there might be a new wedge in their relationship. Violet has been asking Finn about Grandpa Jeff, so he asked Elizabeth about him again and if she has a picture. But she lied and said no just as she flashed back to ripping it up. Hopefully he understands.

I was a bit disappointed. Charlotte was the only kid on on Friday and she didn't dress up. No one did. In fact the only mention of Halloween was the interaction between Sonny and Avery, which was either Wed or Thurs. He was telling her that Kristina is picking her and Donna up to go Trick-or-treating. Hopefully we'll have some good family Christmas scenes between Sante/their kids/Alexis and Finn/Elizabeth/their kids. I'm sure the focus will be on the Corinthos family though.

Today was okay. I enjoyed the Alexis/Nikolas and Molly/Spencer scenes. Funny because Molly and Spencer are supposed to be only four months apart. At the end that creepy guy from the hospital and bar was watching Molly and TJ. I'd like to see Molly and TJ get an actual story outside of social justice advocacy and Molly cheating on him, so hopefully this goes somewhere.

Michael and Willow made up and he proposed at the end, but she didn't look sure.

Not sure I like Ava handing over Charlie's to Julian's enemy (Sonny). But can't say I'm surprised. She's turning into a Carson fan.

Avery is cute. Sonny told her that Kristina is taking her and Donna out trick-or-treating. I hope we get to see them in their costumes... all the kids. Only the teens dressed up last year if I remember correctly.

Nina should stay away from the MetroCourt, just saying. She saw Carly there at the end.

Tomorrow's doesn't look very exciting either. Get back to the Drew storyline and Elizabeth/Finn please, lol.

I loved the Finn/Elizabeth/Aiden/Violet/Chase scenes today. They were super cute. Cam was working and I forget where they said Jake was. Aiden brought out an old family album to show Violet and they found a picture of Elizabeth and Jeff, so Violet was asking why she hasn't met her grandpa. Elizabeth told her that he's a doctor like Daddy and he goes around helping people. Then she muttered under her breath that those people are more important than they are. When Finn and Chase went to the kitchen with the kids, Elizabeth was staring at the photo. I kept expecting her to have a flashback, but she didn't. She ended up ripping the photo and joining the others in the kitchen. We've only had a few scenes of this new storyline and so far Finn hasn't taken over. If it were Franco it would be all about him.

Carly was acting all proud of Michael while Sonny seemed uneasy. But then both of them thought Michael should just focus on Sonny's return.

Gladys is blackmailing Brooklyn, no surprise there. She played the recording to her and Brooklyn was shocked.

Spencer was telling Esme he needs a job, then Cam suggested he work with him at Kelly's. At first Spencer mocked the idea, but then he pretty much begged Cam to hire him and to train him. I'm enjoying both actors and hope they become friends eventually.

Oh yes, I forgot to mention how he said that Nina broke the law so now she has to deal with it or something like that. Um... so it's okay for Carson to regularly break the law? And I still don't understand what man-given law Nina has broken. What she did wasn't very nice, but she asked "Mike" many many times if he wanted to know who he was but he kept insisting he didn't.

Yes. I think it was only a year or two ago that Brooklyn took the name Quartermaine. Ned took on the name first and she wanted to follow in his footsteps. Plus she was also getting very involved in ELQ at the time.

Are you enjoying your time off?

I know I wanted to yell at the Michael and point out how Carly and Sonny have been. I know it isn't the case but it feels like he is going after Nina harder than he did Sonny and Carly when AJ was murdered.

Gladys is like a buzzing little gnat. I was thinking when she turned on that record button that some part of that secret was going to come out. I'm glad at least it wasn't about Maxie, being Bailey's mother. Gladys has a big enough mouth that it would send up a homing beacon straight to Peter.

I liked Britt and Jason too. Oh Jason is infinitely a better character away from Carson. I think Britt and Jason still have the chemistry but they lost a bit of the mojo they had going. It might come back though. I'll take it over Jarly and we already know my feelings on Jasam. I don't see Carly going back to Jax. I do see Nina and Sonny for a while and I am betting Jarly will get a redo. Frankly, I'd root for Carly dropped on her butt and spending time alone.

Violet is so cute but I'm missing my Jakey. Can they unearth him a bit more often?

Did Brooklyn change her name or something? She's referred to herself as BLQ a couple of times but her last name is Ashton. Unless that is a play on something else.

I like that Ava and Scott and defending Nina. Although I would have thought that Ava would be a bit more low key about it. Sonny might take away his grand generosity of additional visitation. Wonder if he ever told Carly about that. I'm sure he would need her approval for such matters.

Apparently, I can make a rant out of an episode that was not all that stunning. Sorry so wordy.

Eh, yeah today was all right. Not much to write home about. I'm definitely rooting for Nina. I wish Michael was going after Carson again instead, like back when he was trying to take Avery from them. I totally think we're getting Sonny/Nina, even if it's just temporary. Which will probably mean Jarly or she'll go back to Jax.

I'm enjoying Jason out of Carson and Sam's orbit. Even though he was literally with Sam on Friday lol. I would like them to give Jason/Britt a bit of a run, but I imagine we'll get more Jarly.

So Gladys recorded the gals and knows Valentin isn't Bailey's father. She still doesn't know she's Maxie's, she'll probably think Chase is the father and will hold this against Brooklyn. Insteresting.

Finn/Elizabeth/Violet are in the previews tomorrow. Hopefully it's more exciting than today's lol.

Today was okay. I'll wait to rant until you get to see it. I will say that I don't think what Michael did will have the results he desires. But then again, he secretly always wanted Jason as Daddy, so may it will.

Today wasn't bad. I won't go into it too much until you get to watch. But, I will say I am pretty sure that in the long run, Michael's stunt will not have the desired effect. But, then again it might in terms of Jarly. I don't know.

I hadn't been so good about starting early until a couple years ago. With the boys, I want to be sure I can find what I want. The adults get Gift Cards to places I know they like and then I call it good. I hated shopping before but yeah, with the pandemic it is worse.

Ok so we are pretty much on the same page with Jasam. I actually posted that before they were done and I didn't expect Sam to decide she wanted to go home to the kids. I figured she would stay and it might be the reboot of Jasam. But I think you are right she is still very much into Dante. Agreed that line about going to Jason was weird/stupid. When that all started wasn't he dodging bullets, running with Britt and then making googly eyes at Carly, while the village came out to worship them? When would he have found time to go to Greece to search for Drew? Otherwise it was a decent conversation.

Hmm, I do usually want to make everything bad that happens the fault of Carly, but Michael is behaving a bit like Edward and Tracy. I thought Willow was going to blow a gasket...bet Chase is looking like the better deal right now.

According to the tv guide Finn and Liz were supposed be on but they were wrong and I'm betting it will be next week when Valentin goes back to the states.

All in all Wed through today, the episodes were not too bad. Can't believe I am saying that.

Oh! You're an early Christmas shopper like me :D I'm actually behind this year. Most years I start Sept 1st and try to finish by Nov 1st (though I usually add last minute items) because I like to beat the crowds and I enjoy the season more. But I hate shopping these days because of having to wear a mask and all the arrows in the aisles. I did start last week though and got a lot done in one trip.

I just finished today's episode. Okay, so the Jasam scenes... they actually weren't as bad as I was anticipating. That said I'll state a few things that annoyed me about them first. Did she really have to pull him aside? She could've said everything she said in front of Dante and Britt. Unless she was being sensitive because Britt's worried about her mother, but it can also be said why would she pull Jason away from her. Though I don't think Sam knows Sonny is alive, so she might think Jason is still with Carly. Second thing that annoyed me was she told him she should've gone to him right away. Seriously?

Another thing that annoys me, not really specific to Jasam's conversation, but I think it's obvious now that Jason is going to take over this rescue mission. I'm fine with Jason being the hero sometimes, but it's usually overkill. Even if it wasn't Dante and Sam to save the day, let Robert and Anna be the heroes.

I do like that Sam is choosing to go home to her kids now though. Not only because she's trying to get her priorities straight, but because this isn't going to turn into a Jasam story, yay! Lol. Also, the majority of the conversation was about Drew. He is Jason's brother, so I guess it makes sense to inform him. And I'm glad that she told Dante right away about the conversation. What I took from it is she still cares about Jason and Drew, but she's into Dante right now and focused on wherever they're going right now. Could be wrong, but that's how I read it. Over all the scenes weren't bad. If she didn't say the line about going to him, they almost sounded like friends, not former lovers.

Michael... okay, I'm not condoning him at all, he is in the wrong. And I hate that it's to defend the Corinthos clan, but he's not reminding me of Carly, he actually seems very Quartermaine right now, imo, and I kind of sort of like it lol. I almost wish this side of him would come out when it comes to ELQ meetings with the Qs. Would be fun to see him butt heads with Ned, as long as it's equal. But I would still want to see his good-natured side too. I thought he and Willow had good chemistry when they were arguing today. They really seemed like a Quartermaine couple. I could see Alan and Monica going behind each others backs like that. But I could change my mind as this progresses.

So glad that Kevin (and Laura offscreen) are the ones bailing Spencer out and giving him a home. I was afraid it would be Sonny. I have no interest in seeing Sonny taking him under his wing. Kevin and Laura should be able to him the good balance of tough love and giving him the attention Nikolas hasn't been giving him.

Oh the creepy dude with TJ... he was at Curtis' bar one day acting weird. I don't remember them stating who he was. I think he was listening in on people, but I wasn't paying too much attention lol. I don't even recall him interacting with anyone.

Today's show wasn't bad. Not sure what to make of Jasam's conversation, so am interested what you think as well as of the rest of the show.

Saw Thursday's episode. It was actually pretty good. Although, I honestly thought it was not possible to detest Carson more than I already did, but apparently not. They are so tedious.

They are not the only ones I am loathing right now. I just wanted to scream that Ned and Willow are better off without Olivia and Michael. Like I said in the other post I know Austen still has some other hidden agenda but I kind of side with him as a Grandchild of Edward Quartermaine. Just because Jimmy-Lee ticked off Edward, doesn't mean Austen did.

I'm not sure on what planet, Nicholas thinks giving Ava control of Spencer's trust fund is going to do anything but make things worse. Honestly, I really want Spencer to make this an adult moment. Let Ava control his trust fund and get the charges dropped and for him to have a realization and maybe a talk with Aunt Elizabeth on how to earn his own money and stand on his own two feet. It won't be what he is used to be it is something he needs to do. Calling Grandma Laura...comeback you are needed. I think she would say the same thing. Even Britt could give him some useful tough love. Sonny can go drop off another bridge and take Carly with him.

Sorry for wordy back to back posts, but boy do some of those characters make me want to rant.

I watched Wednesday's episode. It was definitely really good. I loved all the Finn and Elizabeth's scenes. Finn was right it does come across as a bit high school, but I think that is what I like. They've been taking it slow and they are cute and sweet and it is what Elizabeth needs and maybe Finn too (at least in my opinion). Loved the almost classic Elizabeth look at talk of her father. The eyebrow didn't get arched but the glare was certainly there. So those scenes get an A.

Jason/Sonny/Carly. I couldn't really read Sonny. There is no doubt that his inner thoughts are how dare you leave without permission but he didn't express a lot and then there was the Nina flashback. Carly on the other hand, you could tell she was being polite but she was absolutely jealous and she meant when she said that Britt was taking Jason away from them.

I'm not happy with Michael right now and I have always rooted for him. He is going behind Willow's back after that conversation and he is channeling Carly right now. I'm trying to figure out just what law Nina broke. She didn't kidnap Sonny, she just didn't tell him who he was. If someone was to go to jail for something like that, then Carly should have done time in Pentonville for not informing Nicholas that John/Spencer was his son. She withheld information about Nelle from Nina. The hypocrisy has slithered down to the next generation.

I'm hot and cold with Austen. I can't say that I like him because he certainly has an agenda and I'm not certain that the remorse he has going is totally true. But, I get why he,as a grandchild of Edward Quartermaine, would feel ripped off. Edward may have been unhappy with Jimmy Lee Holt but he didn't think about any children that may feel less than for being left out. So I will give him that. I'm not impressed that Brooke would try to get his license revoked. So far medically speaking he had done nothing wrong, so I don't side with her on that one. So when he says it isn't over, I actually do not blame him there. I feel icky defending him.

I want to see Olivia's point of view, I really do. But at this point, I just don't. I get her feelings and yes, Leo should be able to live his best Leo life but if he is on the spectrum as he gets older that is going to be far more difficult without certain therapies. So I can't say I am on her side at all. Wally Kurth/Ned and the little boy who plays Leo/Leo are going to make this storyline shine. I may change my attitude on Olivia but I doubt it.

Do we know who the creepy dude is who was fishing for info out of TJ or is this his first appearance?

I'll try to watch yesterday's epi soon but I am going to try and motivate myself to finish my Christmas shopping and get some groceries, since I have today off and hopefully the stores will be less crowded.
10/21/2021 c93 jrchandlerfan
I'm very sleepy as I'm typing this, so I'll probably forget something.

Today was pretty good for the most part. Loved all the Quartermaine scenes. Austin signed away his claim on the inheritance, I was surprised. But he told Brooklyn this isn't over. He probably has a plan. Michael is proceeding to get Nina out of Wiley's life. I mean, sure, I can see where he's coming from... but by that standard he should be doing the same with Carson.

Willow and Carly talked about Michael, Nina, Wiley, etc. I feel like Willow is reconsidering wanting to be part of the Corinthos clan. I almost want to scream... run! RUN as far and as fast as you can. But easier said than done since she's Wiley's mommy now. Has she officially adopted him yet? If she hasn't, I have a feeling Michael (well, Carly pulling the strings) will soon get Willow out of Wiley's life too for daring to disagree with them.

I wanted to vomit with Sonny giving advice to Spencer. I mean, if it was from a wise man unlike Sonny, it would be sound advice. But I just can't with him. He said his code is you don't hurt women or children and Spencer broke the code. Excuse me Sonny... you may not have hurt a woman or a child physically but you have hurt both. Technically Spencer didn't even hurt Avery physically (not condoning his actions, just making a point). And I mean, Sonny's kids have gotten hurt physically because of Sonny even if he wasn't the one directly hurt them.

I'd like to respond about Rocco and your other comments, but I'm about to fall asleep lol. Hope you enjoy your time off!
10/21/2021 c1 chrissyfan
You know you mentioned Rocco and I totally forgot about him. I think Laura is still out of town, so technically Rocco must be at Monica and Olivia' child care center too. So Monica probably has in her house- Leo, Danny, Scout, Rocco, Charlotte and Bailey. All good kids (maybe not Charlotte) but which puts their life on hold for the additional child minding? Or do they give up and hire extra help during these times? Granted Bailey is Brooke's responsibility and maybe Charlotte to as Valentine is out of town. Maybe Monica should take a vacation.
