I'll will check today's episode out for sure. Yay for Elizabeth and Finn, super cuteness. Sooo, they are finally going to give Elizabeth some family about darn time. Interesting he is coming on in and around Naomi's death. But, I guess beggars can't be choosers. Good for Elizabeth for ignoring his first message. He was that concerned, get on a plane. Wonder who he will be played by.
Haha, love it, Jason told them, did not ask but told them, he was going out the country. Love it. Maybe we are getting some of old school Jason back. I like it but yet, I can't help but bee a bit unhappy that he couldn't stand up to them for Elizabeth or even Sam but he is going to do it for Britt. Whatever will Carly do with out the person who keeps her on a leash only a stone's throw away? Yikes, Nina better hunker down and lay low or she is going to be in trouble. No Jason, to keep Carly on a leash.
Michael and Willow might be over before they really start. Nina is going to be a huge point of discontent and even if Michael actually truly agreed to allow Nina access to Wiley, there would be Carly wailing in her usual banshee style.
I don't usually mind the adventures. But, yeah, Collectively, Monica and maybe to a degree Olivia has put more hours into raising Danny and Scout than Jason for sure and I also would include Sam to a degree. That would be interesting if Peter were to target Scout and/or Danny while both of them are out of town. Exactly, if there were an emergency Monica should be able to make those decisions but I do think it would come down to Carly, at least for Danny. Ugh, and probably Jake. I just can't imagine Elizabeth not having an opinion on that. Sam and Carly were at one point friends, so that might be okay with Sam. I guess for Scout, it would be Molly and TJ. While Kristina has done better, I cannot imagine leaving her in charge of a goldfish.
Chuckles I don't know what I am going to do with five days in a row off. I'll enjoy the first three then probably buckle down and do some much needed fall type cleaning.

Okay you are totally going to want to watch today's. Finn and Elizabeth were of course super adorable like always. But when they were about to discuss where they want their relationship to go, Terry arrived and said that Elizabeth's father called. Apparently he called and left Elizabeth a message when Franco died but she didn't call back, so he contacted Terry to find out if Elizabeth is okay. They are so bringing back Jeff Webber.
Jason went to Carson to tell them that he's leaving town with Britt and both of them started acting weird. Then Britt arrived and Carly said, so I hear you're taking Jason from us. She didn't seem pleased HAHA. But Sonny was polite and wished them luck in finding Leisl. I mean, they maybe didn't want him to leave so soon after Sonny returned, but I think she was just peeved that he told them he was leaving and didn't ask if it was okay lol.
Michael and Willow were arguing over whether to allow Nina in Wiley's life. But Willow pointed out that they don't want to go through a long drawn out court battle because grandparents have rights and Nina will probably win. Michael agreed, but after Willow left, he called someone to get something on Nina.
Ooh yay for time off! I hope you enjoy it and get some rest.
That's an interesting thought about Danny and/or Scout. Regardless of what Jasam wrote on paper, I feel like Monica should have the most rights since she basically raises them. Alexis and Molly were very involved in the early years, but Monica has been consistent all along, they haven't. I can picture it all very vividly. If one of them fell ill and Monica and Carly argued over treatment, I'm sure Carly would win if she's the next of kin on paper, even though she's not involved in their lives. And I suppose Monica would be made to look like a fool regardless of the fact that she's a doctor, Carly's choice will be shown to be the one to save their life, rme.
While I'm very much enjoying Sante searching for Drew, it still doesn't fully sit well with me. I feel like Sam should've sent people out to search for him and do what she can from PC so she doesn't leave the kids (same with Dante, re Rocco). OR have Peter kidnap Scout and that gives her better reason to leave the continent and risk her life. I'm trying to over look it, but it's hard lol.

This just popped into my mind: I know it would never happen but... with Sam and Jason both out of the country, what happens if Danny and/or Scout get hurt? Does Carly have a medical proxy to stand in on Danny's behalf? I remember they had some conversation about taking care of each other's kids if they other couldn't. Scary that Carly have that, scarier is who could do it for Scout? Monica or Molly, maybe? Soaps don't usually move along those real life lines and Sam's reasons for going out of the country are totally different than the normal but it does harken back to the days she and Jason were out of the country or she gets into trouble and Jason rescues. The kids have spent more time in Monica and Olivia's care than their own parents.

It has been busy for sure. I am taking a few days off starting Friday so trying to make sure I have everything done that needs doing. There is nothing worse than coming back to an angry email asking why something didn't get done.
Nope you are not being paranoid at all. The default is that Sam gets into a situation and Jason runs to the rescue. Which I could very well see happening if they all converge on the same place at the same time. I wouldn't mind them all working together as well, so long as it is somewhat equal and it isn't to exploit Jason's superhuman powers (not that I mind that but in this case I'd rather see things equal in this case).
Britt and Spencer were close back them. Although, she was more like a co-conspirator than adult figure. But, he has grown and she has grown, it wouldn't hurt for her to try with him.

I think Jason was telling someone in the previews that he's going to Greece but I didn't catch who it was. I'm guessing either Sonny or maybe Spinelli. I suppose it could be Carly, but Carly was shown with someone else. Maybe he's asking for Sonny's permission.
I will be so ticked if this turns into another Jason rescuing Sam story. I honestly wouldn't even mind Jason/Britt working with Sante on something like this if I trusted the writers. If I were writing the show I might even do something like that and make Jasam friends and co-parents. But history makes me nervous when Jasam are in close vicinity lol. Do I sound paranoid? :P
They have a bit. Nikolas and Ava were in it today but not Spencer. Britt has offered to talk to Spencer thinking he'll trust her. And Ava and Portia were talking about Spencer and Trina. Portia doesn't want Spencer around Trina.

No Carson two days in a row? Now that is freaky. I do have to wonder how Jason managed to extricate himself from Carson's death like grip for this little trip. He barely can get across town with out filing for one of their approval (in triplicate).
I'm going with the idea that Peter is definitely controlling Drew, but thinking about Scout might keep him from being fully controlled, perhaps. As long as he doesn't hurt Sam and Jason feels like he has to step in, it should be okay. It does sound like it could be complicated for some time for him.
I'll take Finn and Elizabeth separately and/or together.

No Carson again :) Britt asked Nikolas' help in finding the address to the Cassadine property in Greece while Jason listened in. Then Anna called Britt to inform her that both Leisl and Drew are there, then Britt told Jason. So they decided they're heading to Greece. I'm surprised Jason doesn't ask for Carson's permission first :P
Drew was shown at the end with Peter and he took off a bullet proof vest and hopped in the car with Peter. Okay... he better be mind-controlled because if they decide to make him evil all along, I will be so ticked. But he kept having flashbacks to Scout when he was alone, so he must be being controlled.

No worries, completely understandable, I hope you are feeling better.
Sounds like good episodes (any Carson free episode is a good episode). Scott was very sweet. I've always had a soft spot for that character. He's run the gamut from super slimy to eccentric to his kinder persona these days. I think I've always felt he was tossed under a bus for Luke and Laura.
Sounds like the adventure parts for Sante and Jason/Britt/Scott are shaping up to be good. Like that Lisel coached Drew through that round of Peter trying to hypnotize him. *chuckles* hopefully the show didn't bring him back to send him off so quickly and likely they won't but it is GH. Agreed, those adventures should be separate for most of it. I wouldn't mind if they all tried to get out at the same time and ran into each other. Wonder if Peter will get away. I think he will be around until the Louise reveal at least.

Hey sorry, I didn't write you on the weekend. Been feeling a little under the weather.
The last two episodes have been good, especially today's (which didn't have Carson in it lol). Jason was in it but with Britt, Spinelli, and Scott. Yeah, even though I'm annoyed that he declared his undying love to Carly, I'm totally up for another try with Jason/Britt. Nice to see his character branching out with others more. And while I didn't hate Scott/Leisl together, I was just indifferent. But after today I was awwing over Scott. He told them that he's been researching Huntington's Disease because when Leisl has questions over it concerning her daughter he wants to be there to answer those questions. Okay, I'm pretty sure both Leisl and Britt being doctors they probably already know about it, but it was still really sweet and Britt thought so too.
Only thing though is Spinelli traced Leisl and Victor to Greece. I never thought of this... I hope Jason and Sam don't cross paths when they're there. I know Jason and Drew will share scenes eventually, but I like the idea of Drew escaping with Sante's and Robert/Anna's help. Jason and Britt can save Leisl, but I don't want them to take over Sante/Drew's story.
Leisl told Drew that when Peter tries to hypnotize him to focus his mind on Scout so that he can't control him. And both he and Sam (separately) said that Scout is 4 going on 5 in February, so she hasn't been SORAS'd, that's her age in real time (I know, not super important lol). So when Peter arrived, Drew was able to focus on Scout and attacked Peter and escaped. Meanwhile a goon had a gun on Victor and Valentin and Drew showed up and shot the guy. Love seeing CM in action like this.
Meanwhile the past two episodes Sante have been working with Robert and Anna. Today Sante found Victor (just after Drew shot the goon, so they just missed him). Kind of cool seeing Sam with another Cassadine.
I was annoyed at the end. So Robert and Anna saw Valentin coming towards them but then he was shot. Then Drew came up behind him (R&A saw him) just as he got shot and he fell over the bridge into the water. Okay, I'm sure he's not dead. They wouldn't bring him back just to kill him (at least not right away). But I just feel like Jason is going to show up and save the day. Maybe I'm wrong, and maybe his angle will be focused on Leisl. And I mean, Sam is the swimmer, so maybe she'll find Drew.
The only thing shown in the previews is Drew in the water. So I'm assuming tomorrow will focus on this storyline. So on one hand I'm excited, I just hope it doesn't turn into a Jasam story. I'm a little worried.

I always like your logical way of thinking those scenarios through. I think you are correct on how some of those triangle/pairings are going to shake out for the foreseeable future. They haven't made all this big fuss over Jarly for that to be it. I swear I must have missed something monumental during Jarly's first run that makes them the end all be all for each other. Cause I remember no name sex/boy on the side, Carly dumping Michael in his lap and him falling in love with the baby, she comes back takes him away and almost gets him on kidnapping charges during one of her schemes, then she throws a tizzy and sleeps with Sonny when Jason is taking the meeting Sonny was supposed to take and ends up shot. I'm not seeing it. At least this time unlike the 2015 era, there is other stories and characters to like. Elizabeth isn't being utilized as evil incarnate, so I will take that. I do think Hayden is going to show up, probably right about the time Finn and Elizabeth actually declare their intentions and then Elizabeth will step aside for them. Oye, hopefully she doesn't get a Franco redo in Austin. But, they have shared a scene and I don't see any chemistry. So hopefully that stays the course.

I'm okay with Jason/Britt if it means no Jasam. But at this point the way it's set up, any woman is second choice to Carly. I still vote for him being single for a while and getting his priorities straight.
All that said, if they were to decide a bunch of characters have been mindmapped and they want to reboot everything/everyone... I'd want Julian to return for Alexis, Sante have a run then pair her back with Drew, after Finn/Elizabeth's run pair her back with Jason, bring back Skye for Jax, Lila Rae for Spencer, pair Cam/Trina, Emma with Jake, and Carson can ride off in the sunset together and take Joss with them.

But if we go by history, then a year from now Carson and Jasam will find their way back to each other and Drew, Dante, Britt, Nina, and I'm sure Jax and Alexis somehow too will get a bussing like never before seen on soaps.
I'm okay with Jason/Britt if it means no Jasam. But at this point the way it's set up, any woman is second choice to Carly. I still vote for him being single for a while and getting his priorities straight.
All that said, if they were to decide a bunch of characters have been mindmapped and they want to reboot everything/everyone... I'd want Julian to return for Alexis, Sante have a run then pair her back with Drew, after Finn/Elizabeth's run pair her back with Jason, bring back Skye for Jax, Lila Rae for Spencer, pair Cam/Trina, Emma with Jake, and Carson can ride off in the sunset together and take Joss with them.

I'm glad that your Grandma is ok. Sounds like she has spunk. Eh, this week has been hectic at work but it hasn't been a horrible week, just crazy.
I don't think you are nitpicking. Romantically Jason has never been the one to chase. Maybe he did with Robin on their first break up, I don't remember that so well. I do remember he was very emotional though.
I'm surprised Sonny didn't lose his mind when Jason was honest about his feelings about Carly. I wish I could figure how where all this is going. I was all for Britt and Jason when they first connected but I'm not so sure now. But, I suspect that they will reconnect and be a sort of pairing or maybe a pairing. But, then I wonder if Carly is going to do something that puts Sonny's back against the wall and then they break up and he gravitates to Nina and then Jarly will toddle back to each other. I don't feel like did all of that vomit inducing Jarly crap for nothing, complete with SBu acting like someone had actually lit a fire underneath him. He was positively giddy at the reception and I've never seen his version of Jason give Sam that much actual smileage and emotion and for the last decade GH has touted Jasam as the go to couple. Not sure how or if Sam will fit in. Because I was pretty sure they would be back together by now. Of course I was hoping that Elizabeth mentioning she and Jason were ancient history and Britt's mention Liason might be a foreshadowing but I don't know and am stumped.
*chuckles* I agree, Cam has become way too passive around Joss. I'm all for a rather equal give and take in a relationship but indeed, Joss wears the pants. I feel like I am seeing and Carly/Jason all over again. Because we know Carly wears that pants in that relationship.
If I were Ava, I'd rather deal with Nina too. Carly is an evil wench.

Oh Grandma is so much better, thank you for asking. It's a miracle really. She's 91 and fell over a step onto hardwood floor and hit her head. Had trouble getting up, but didn't break anything and no concussion. Apparently she still has a bit of a black eye and a bump on her head, but she's moving around like normal (well... normal as before the fall. Still with a walker). And she and Grandpa went to M&M Meat Shop on their own the other day. So awesome!

That's true, Jason has gone to Elizabeth for help, I forgot. I think I'm just so used to complaining about him and Carson, especially right now lol. I guess I'm nitpicking. But might be good for him to get back into Britt's orbit and away from Carly, even if it's for a short time, because I think they'll have to leave town to look for Leisl.
The Drew/Peter/Victor stuff and Sante are in the previews for tomorrow, yay! But still no sign of Finn/Elizabeth :(

Joss gave Carly a step by step, very detailed recital of her run-in with Nina. Carly told her just to let it go, but Joss pointed out that Carly hasn't.
Jason ended up telling Sonny that he and Carly fell in love again. But it doesn't matter because she's married to Sonny and they're raising children together, and that he's back to being their friend. Then Britt texted Jason asking to meet, so that will continue tomorrow.
I'm jumping onto the Cam/Trina ship. I feel like Joss makes Cam look weak. He just nods along to what she says like she wears the pants in the relationship.
Ava wants Sonny and Nina to get together, I think so Nina can help her spend more time with Avery. TBH, if I were Ava, I wouldn't want Carly to be my daughter's stepmother either lol.

Knew I was forgetting something- Finn/Elizabeth- I wish they were on more too. I don't know why they are stingy with the Drew scenes. Maybe they had to work around something else CM was/is doing for a while.
