Yeaahhh... Arya would make a pretty awful queen. That's not great long term planning. She would have been better naming Jon, or Rhaenys. They at least have legitimate claims that would back them up against what would be an already rocky succession. Arya would have the support of her siblings, but little else, and has no proven track record of leadership... or even particularly good decision making. She's flighty, going from wanting to be a warrior, to an animal breeder, to a spy master, and she hardly seems the type to understand the political necessities of establishing an heir and dynasty.
Yeah, actually, one of the worst picks Meera could have made to be honest.

That's... a rather strange leap for Mance to make. If he's fully aware of the threat of the Others approaching, why would he want to eliminate the primary force dedicating to manning the Wall against them, and not just take his people and move south as fast as possible? Can't imagine he plans on replacing them, and it would seem to just draw attention to their crossing much faster. A little baffling to be honest.

On a separate note, as I forgot to mention this at the time, you have Tyrion using a seal with four quartered seasons. Would just like to point out that Westeros would be unlikely to have that sort of symbology or association between seasons and even divisions of the year given their very long summers and winters and comparably quick autumns and springs.

BUT OMG I REALLY LOVE WHERE THIS FIC IS GOING ALREADY!
(Also, this is why I like Stark fics more than I like Targaryen fics. Personally, I'd much rather have a wolf companion over a massive dragon, even if the latter is more powerful objectively speaking. I WANNA BE ABLE TO CUDDLE MY WOLF WHENEVER I WANT)

A good ending, even if it was rushed as you say, and the pairing went the way I’d have hoped, but while you could have dragged out the fight with Surtr you made him very straight forward so this worked. You have basically cleared out slavery in Essos and made way for Daenerys to build a large Kingdom of her own, though the Dothraki have less to do so that could be it’s own challenge; meanwhile Westeros is in good hands and it might even be a couple generations before the next major conflict, so the next thing Meera should probably do would be to figure out how to create a magical portrait of herself since there’s only so much she’ll be able to do in one lifetime, even with leaving books behind. Also, with the White Walkers and Surtr gone magic will come back into the world in those next few generations, some from families whose practices had bred magic out of themselves like the Targaryens, some from anyone with Stark blood, but most will be muggleborn and as accidental magic gets noticed many Seven worshippers will become a problem. All of that is in the future though, and this story ends here, so thank you for your story, I look forward to the next one, whatever you decide to call it.

Glad this is finaly over . I could not stand the sight of it when i searche for stories .
