Looks like Derek's mission in the future is centralized on covert ops and infiltrations rather than going to the frontline. Though, as for Agustus molt and Zorzal, both are going to be killed early in this series for certain. Also, I'm expecting the U.S gov will use Tyuule as a catalyst to make the entire Saderan empire collapsed to the ground.
Never heard of North Korea making its move, yet. I'm going to be surprised if they pulled Homefront style when they heard the U.S had large abundant resources coming from the other side of the gate.

So this is your 3rd version of your story? Interesting.
Now for the review.
Well the aftermath of World War III has show us the severed consequences to the world. America and Europe were devastated in the war against Russia and fully recovered. China and Iran take advantage of the Middle East's hellhole situation. And also a second Cold War between TCI led by China and Iran and PAUS led by the US and its European allies are currently ongoing, but right now it seemed that TCI is suffering internal problems in the Middle East. Luckily, the US and its allies don't have to deal with that shithole anymore since they have alternate resources.
Also the location of the Gate is quite different this time. Instead of Time Square, it's located in Central Park of New York. Frost and NYPD trying their best to contain the invasion from spreading out in the park until reinforcement arrive. This whole chapter is more in the US perspective since I haven't find a single Saderan's perspective yet in this chapter. Must be in the next chapter then. Gonna wonder if the next chapter is the entire Saderan's perspective and least from the US side.
I'll wait for your next update then.
