I saw that you have a poll where you ask which of yours Merlin's fanfiction is favorite for your readers. As I didn't find in the list two of my favorites, just wanted to let you know that it's this one and all 3 from the cycle "I Should Not Dare to Leave My Friend". I always come back to read them. They just mutch my inner canon so much!
Very well written and Arthur is a king which I really really love.
Thank you for sharing with us all your stories, it's a big pleasure to read them.

Thoroughly enjoyed this. In spite of losing Uther, there is no excuse for Arthur's behaviour. You really bring things to light, from difficult times, very well, and embellish them with panache.

Well, since it is a personal headcanon that the goblet fell on Leon, here's what most DEFINITELY happened next:
Epilogue:
He had just been patrolling inside the courtyard, holding a polite conversation with Lancelot and watching the growing shadows with trepidation and wariness. The guards were normally lazy and blind and oblivious to evil stuff, so Leon oversaw everything they did since he didn't want to bother the new King with the captain of the guard.
So, he had just been walking close to the building in the courtyard-close enough to see the cracks in the stone-when something landed on his head with a loud clunk.
Leon, used to things flying out of windows (had to be the fourth time this week) just sighed as much as he could with painful tears welling in his eyes and his head throbbing. He glanced helplessly at Lancelot, who was biting back a smile with a sympathetic gaze, having witnessed the other occasions when flying objects tested the immortality of the first knight.
"Time to go to Gaius." The other knight announced, slinging Leon's arm over his shoulder and plucking up the goblet from the ground.
A second later (someone up there was evilly cackling at them, Leon suspected allies of Morgana) liquid dropped over them both. Leon tasted wine. "Why, just why?" Leon muttered as Lancelot pouted over his glorious hair being covered in wine.
Gwaine snickered at them as he passed them, "Looking good you two." Before he was impaled by falling glass and sobbed over his ruined features.
Elyan and Percival approached, took one look at them and then at each other and then back to them before turning and walking away. Leon thought he heard Elyan muttering, "Not today Satan, not today."
When the three stooges finally made it to Gaius, Arthur and Merlin were there and they all glowered at the king''s amused look before Gaius treated the still sobbing Gwaine, who was bemoaning the loss of his good looks loudly enough to wake Merlin which caused Gaius and Arthur to repeatedly hit the rebellious knight.
(Mysteriously, Gwaine healed with no scarring. It wasn't sorcery. No. Sorcery was evil.)
When Gaius got to Leon, he just raised an eyebrow and asked: "Again, Sir Leon?"
...this is why you shouldn't give me ideas, I just give you an entire page of nonsense in a review. If it wasn't obvious, I loved your story and I keep coming back to it.
