Honestly, it's hard to understand how someone who could write Invictus would come up with this story full of the most common and cringe tropes in HP fanfiction. You could do so much better.

Smurf, i just wanted to say that I am really enjoying this fic. I really like the story and the fact that you put a little bit of everything into a coheasive story (action, romance, politics, and a dash of mystery). Thumbs up for now, and I cant wait to see the rest of the story unfold!

not to nitpick but the depiction of Barnabas the Barmy is on a tapestry, not a painting.

Imma be honest man. I lost all interest when you said “grey faction.” One side is advocating for genocide and the other advocating for life and equal rights- what we really need here is *middle ground* between the two. Also so far your stance on muggle born is “breeding stock for better wizards” which is- I mean when you look at whole person and say “yes their best use is to be submissive and breedable” that’s not a progressive hot take that’s arguably worse than ‘not allowed in our society.’
Four chapters in and your story still hasn’t passed the bechdal test- which yes is a horrible test but the fact you still haven’t cleared- or shown any female agency whatsoever- it says a lot about your views on women.

The near constant exposition dumps in the middle of dialogue for the trial got tedious after a while and I found myself losing the thread of the conversation because of how long they went on. It would make more sense to either relay pertunent imformation short and to the point or let the reader figure some of these things out for themselves.

So great to see an update on this one. I read it ages ago and was very impressed. I'm currently re-reading from the beginning. Perhaps there might be another chapter by the time I get to the end again? ::uses puppy eyes::
Best wishes.

This is an interesting Dumbledore. I've been reading the 'insane or evil, pick at least one' stories lately, and having one who actually tries to help is different. Did Harry get sent back to an alternate reality instead of back in time?
