you seem to be taking away his powers or trying really hard to slow him down first is the shapeshifting, which you had to destroy the validity of the goblins to do, now with the wandless mage stuff which is the entire premise of the story. Perhaps you are just explaining it badly, but it seems like the picture of salazar is far more important than his mage abilities. I can understand the need to be wary of power creep, however, with 200k words I fear that harry is going to constantly have his powers taken.

lol why do you just say 'crack' randomly in italics a few times in this chapter? what is cracking? Is it an audio effect just in Harry's head? Is all the italics Harry's internal dialogue? Cause it's all pretty silly and I can't tell if its intentional but it made me laugh either way.
