for Down the Bloodline 4

Another excellent chapter from an excellent writer! I probably sound like a broken record at this point, but your writing style and attention to detail are phenomenal as always. One thing I don’t think I’ve mentioned is how much I love the way you make sure to include the whole family (and the villain!) in every chapter of this series. You allow all of their stories to interweave while giving everyone individual attention, and that’s a rare and great skill for a writer to have! Not only that, you make sure that every single one of those stories is well-developed. I especially loved the Gru-Dru and Edith-Jack plotlines in this chapter (and honestly Waker’s too haha). Oh, and poor Margo :(. Amazing job, Swalker2000! I can’t wait to see how you decide to tell the rest of the characters’ stories!

What a lovely surprise that I woke up to! I’m over the moon that you and your stories are back, and you’ve already captivated my interest from the first chapter alone. I love the call back to the IVB’s previous plan, and the idea of brainwashing sounds terrifying and exciting to read at the same time. I’m more than ready to read another of your wonderful adventures!

AHHHHH! I’m so thrilled this has become a quadrilogy! As usual, you had me on the edge of my seat! I love the way you picked up right where you left off and wasted no time delving into the action. I am glad to see that Gru’s stress levels are down since stepping down from the director position and that he and Lucy have been so successful in taking down villains—although I know trouble regarding his scheme with Dru and the threat of Waker is probably brewing ;). Waker is an intriguing villain, and I can’t wait to see how he plays into the story. I’m also so glad to have Jack back! He fits right into the family, and his character growth is very touching.

You write all of the characters so well. I especially love the storyline you seem to be setting up for Edith—her desire for villainy to continue so she can someday fight against it is so perfect for her character. Margo is historically my favorite of the girls, but I have such a big soft spot for Edith (she reminds me of my little sis and she’s generally awesome :) ), and your writing makes me love her even more.

Fantastic job, Swalker2000! You’ve got my adrenaline pumping, and I can’t wait to see what happens next!

P.S. Please don’t cringe while reading the first two Down the Bloodlines! They’re incredible, and you are crazy talented!

P.P.S. I also love the banter between Gru and Ramsbottom :)

P.P.P.S. I am so sorry for the long length of this review. I just wanted to let you know that all of your hard work is appreciated—your work never fails to captivate me! You have such a gift!
