I like how Nathan was so emotional. Great job!

This was amazing! I really hope the show takes notes from you and plays it out a lot like this (yes, I know it's already written...but details!).

I liked the recap of what we've seen so far this season in Nathan's mind. That was well done. And the bit about him finally being able to live again...so good. Poor guy - getting rejected by Elizabeth and then Hargraves showing up. Sheesh. Can't catch a break.

Wow! An anxiety attack. Did not see that coming. And that Lucas was the one who saw it happen. He seemed truly concerned, but I'm glad Bill showed up when he did and knew exactly what to do. He knows what Nathan needs. I love that about him, and I love his friendship with Nathan.

Very interesting finding out what actually happened from Bill's perspective. I liked that. And I liked his reaction. Not really surprised, but infinitely supportive and kind. Wow. That was very powerful and very well done. Loved the connection to Jack you gave Nathan. The fact that he was riding out to take over Jack's posting at the time Jack died...sucker punch! Oh man. Poor Nathan! But again, I love that Bill affirmed him and let him know it wasn't his fault, and that the outcome might not have been the same if Nathan had been the one leading that group.

You had me crying with this story, but it was incredibly well done. Great job! I truly hope something like this is the case on the show.

This is very much the theory that I am leaning toward. Though Nathan is definitely not responsible for Jack's death, I can understand why he would think otherwise, especially after growing closer to his family, friends, and community. I love how you included Bill and Nathan's friendship. I truly believe the Bill views Nathan as another son, and this is evident in this story.

Excellent! And totally plausible sounding. It'll be interesting to see if you are close to the mark in what will be revealed on the show.

That would explain Nathan’s behavior. Nathan was so blessed to have Bill to talk to and help him work through his guilt and pain. Bill’s reasoning and explanation help the accident make sense. Nathan is not responsible. Beautifully written. Thank you.

Oh my gosh! I am just crying so hard! I can see this being the way it happened! And Nathan feeling so guilty! Bill is right! Allie needed Nathan, because he was all she had! I am so glad that Bill is there for Nathan! This was a very well written story, and I can totally see this being what happened! I would like to see more of this, if possible! Such a GREAT story! Thanks!

Tugged at my heart strings, just like Allie at the Inquisition. I can really see something like this playing out on the show, and it would be most definitely something hard to just blurt out to Elizabeth with her still grieving heart, especially now that he’s professed his love for her. tough situation for him to be in. Great story, thank you for sharing!

Wow! I can totally see this as a possibility on the show. But so heartbreaking if it does.

Lovely moment between Bill and Nathan. Good little one shot. This could certainly be an actual scenario...but I would be in tears if it happened.

Love this theory and I hope this is how it plays out on the show

Really well written-so touching. I think maybe N found J when he returned to the fort at the time of the landslide and was helping with the rescue/recovery.

I truly believe that this or some semblance of this is what we will see about how Nathan knew Jack!

I love how you told the story... How Nathan tried to feel normal again after all this trauma, one hit after another! I hate that Lucas saw him! And love that Bill saw him, took care of him, understood him, and got him to talk! I love how Bill just let him cry and empty that would of all the infection in it. Maybe Nathan can truly start to heal. I would live to see ‘fun’ Nathan... for his family, for his community! Great job!
