I haven’t reviewed in a little while but I’m loving book 3. The prose are much, much better and I like the shorter chapters. They just have a snappy flow to them that makes me want to keep reading.
The Grindelwald connections are still probably my favourite part of the story. If only Fantastic Beasts did his backstory half so well. The movies might actually be successful if they had.
I sometimes wish we got to see a bit more of Harry and his friends but when we do see them, it’s great so I don’t really mind.
I especially like the Pansy stuff. It all feels so natural and believable for two people their age and is a breath of fresh air.
Oh, and a question while I’m here.
Will we ever find out why the dementors flee from Harry? It seems like the sort of thing that might never be answered and in a way I think that might be cool, but I’m also really curious.
