Sometime between this movie and the next a portal opens up to spit out Sienna Khan, (because wasted potential) Ilia Amitola, (because redemption) and Whitley, (because Schnee sibling bonding) as well as a note to Katana.
The note.

I recently got word of what you were doing, and I got to say that I approve.
So as an attempt to help you, I picked out these three and got them up to speed on what has happened in the movies as well as what might of happened if things didn't change the way they already did, before sending them to you.

I think it's because Pepper didn't understand what was happening with him. Like a full understanding of his nightmares, but yeah, I think she was just too harsh. It's fucked up to push someone away who is clearly suffering and needs help. She was the only one he could tell about his nightmares and she just acts like he's the one in the wrong. Like what the fuck...
