Finally! A story where those traitors get a traitor’s end. Serves em’ right. Truly hope you continue this.

Rankin de Merthry.
someone definitely has no grasp on LOGISTICS.
You're talking about supplying the Army like it's no big deal.

Careful y'all we got trash talkers here. But overall, I look forward to seeing this ending.

It’s a realistic outcome of what would await Paradise after 139. I like your voice for Historia and would love to read more

The vast majority (80%) of the worlds population is dead. Marley's navy and airforce were obliterated and we can also presume that the army is in disarray (the chain of command above and including Magath was wiped out).
If there were wars to happen in the AoT world it would probably be within the mainland, most likely against what remains of Marley, coming from the neighbouring countries, who were subjected to bullying from Marley for the last centuries.
With Marley in shambles, and with countries like Hizuru willing to ally with Paradis, to further their original trade interests and to gain a symbolic leader in Mikasa, Paradis will benefit from the cultural exchange and grow in technological terms to the point where it will become unchallenged by other nations and capable of repelling any future offensives in the decades to come.
Honestly the biggest threat to peace after 139 is the Jaegerist faction, and the likelyhood of them simply gathering up on some kind of crusade to wipe out the remaining mainlanders.
Also , Eren would never leave Historia in the dark at the end, either by a message through the Paths or other way, so she wouldn't really have a reason to hate them.
The rest would be different however. While other countries should be receptive to the idea of world peace, the former marley eldians should always face tension whenever in Paradis (people don't tend to forgive genocide on their backyard that easily after all), so the peace talks within Paradis will be the Alliance's greatest challenge.
That said I'm curious on how you're gonna end this. Someone is ending up either hanged or without their head I'm guessing xD. Keep it up.

No offense but this first chapter shows how unrealistic it is and given how dumb AOT’s portrayal of geopolitics is already even before the ending trying to apply realism to something that was already incredibly unrealistic (I’d go in deeper but it basically boils down to the universal hate of Eldians prior and how everyone just blindly believed the one Eldian who is somehow accepted because his ancestors happened to somehow be the only ones to help them)
But for this story there is many flaws with Historia’s character since she has shown to be very against the Yaegerist movement and Eren’s actions as she did not want the rumbling to happen and even tried to get Eren to stop it. This story frames her as pro-rumbling despite the fact there is nothing in the source material to show her to support it. Hell Historia’s characterization feels like what you’d think what she’ll be like despite her never showing any support for fascist ideals and didn’t want to go with the ideology her father wanted which is what she seems to be doing with her controlling the public shit. She also has shown to care for the alliance in a sense since it was said she has been protecting Jean and Connie’s families from the Yaegerists. Historia has also never shown to be paranoid of the outside worlds shit and what you have written of her feels less like Historia and more like if Floch was genderbent who was pissed by the outcome.
Hell another part that makes this story or premise flawed is that Paradis is the only country that is developed and with the rumbling, it is the one ahead of the field so it is capable of defending itself now especially with the military having more of a modern aesthetic in the last chapter. Especially with what another reviewer said.
Hell if Historia (or Female!Floch) wants to protect her country wouldn’t the last thing she want to do is piss off the rest of the world that remains by mistreating the ambassadors so if anything this will just be declaring war on the world if peace is not accepted. But hey if the island gets nuked at the end of this, then it would make up for it.

Pretty glad to find a fanfic where the ending leans towards my general idea of 'what will happen of Paradis in near Future'.
And same goes for me regarding the final chapter or precisely the last few chapters, which I'm disappointingly discontent towards. I will look forward to what else you have in mind in the next chapter.

Oh my god, I was looking for a story like that, every story picture the alliance as the perfect heros who are juste soooo kind and selfless, but they are in fact the most egoist guys, the paradisians want to keep their moral even if it means sacrificing their homeland and the marleyans just want to save their family. I always had a problem with the fics where the alliance members come back as heroes in Paradise, I mean... wtf. So yeah, thanks for that more realistic story and I hope that you'll continue this story for as long as possible :)

Seriously, what the heck was Isayama thinking when he wrote the last few chapters? He literally made Eren regress back to whiny baby season 1 Eren. Every single character growth goes out the window. Not to mention the several inconsistencies like being able to literally time travel even as far back as the titan wars and influence things but Eren apparently can't change his "destiny." What complete bull.
Some people say they like it, but I look at them like an alcoholic that wanted quit the bottle but keeps going back to the drink. God, the more I stew on the ending, the more pissed off I get.

Akuma, 20% of humanity that didn't go through the rumbling would be untouched. They'd still have an army ready to go and they'd outnumber the Eldians a 100 to 1 at the very LEAST. And since planes and warships are a thing, pesky things like resupplying is only a minor problem. With the land literally flattened, they could just drop supplies along the way for the army to pick up and NO ONE would be there to steal it.

Order, I share al ot of your opinions about the alliance, but I personally think that, with the world in the state its in, Paradis has more than enough time to catch up and refortify itself. Being relaitvely unscathed means they have the infrastructure to keep going and advance while everyone else is jsut to trying to get their shit together enough to sustain their people. Between that and everything else, it wouldn't be hard for Eldia to take the coast nearest them since almost all of Marley itself is gone.
Still, as "meh" as I am towards the ending often, I can always enjoy some Alliance-bashing.
...If you do third capter, or just add this onto the second, how about Historia getting a "final memory" unlock like Armin and the others did. Possibly triggered by my Historia touching Mikasa or sentencing the Alliance. Just a final goodbye between Historia and Eren, maybe him revealing something that Armin and the others didn't know. Something that at least gives her hope.
