Wow! Didn’t expect this show up today, but I’m glad it did! This was a great prologue for what’s to come in season 2 of Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man. Nice homage to the beginning of The Amazing Spider-Man 2 at the beginning. And great introductions to the new characters for season 2, mainly Anya Corazon. To be honest, I didn’t know she existed until I watched the 2017 animated Spider-Man series. Overtime, I grew to like her character and did more research on who she is in the comics. Apparently she’s known as Spider-Girl and has the same powers as Peter. Just wondering who would play her in live action if this was an actual series. Hope you come up with some casting ideas soon. Can’t wait to see what role she has to play in the rest of the season. Also liked that Gwen, Gloria, and MJ have already started their own band this season, with Anya joining as the new girl. And it was hilarious that Peter was being late for it. Typical Parker Luck.
Other than that, another thing I liked in this prologue was the foreshadowing of what’s to come in season 2. Looks like Felicia has started her career as the infamous Black Cat and Eddie Brock has now become Venom. I can see a battle between Spider-Man and Venom happening later in the future judging by the story’s cover and the fact that season 2’s title is based on the Spider-Man video game Web of Shadows where Venom launches a full scale symbiote invasion on New York. Maybe that will also occur in this story. Also hoping that Hammerhead and Tombstone will both appear as well because of one of the phone retail robbers name dropping the former and the other mentioning the latter as the “Albino Luke Cage-looking guy”.
As for the rest of season 2, I hope that you saw my ideas for the second season that I posted on the first season a while back. Hope that you liked my ideas of Martin Li aka Mr. Negative being introduced at the F.E.A.S.T. Shelter along with the Demons taking over New York’s underworld in Fisk’s absence, Silver Sable and Sable International being hired by Mayor Koch to deal with the Demons, the introduction of Miles Morales and the introduction of the Sinister Six. Please send me a PM on what you think of these ideas.

Man this story is awesome. i so happy spidey and his friends are back. New adventures, and new villains. hopefully you update another chapter friendly neighborhood spider man season 2.
