I like your explanation for why it was taking Brennan so long to find a new intern...and it came down to such a human emotion-she missed him. The nice thing, too, is that although she didn't really know what she was getting into, Cam was insightful and persistent enough to provide some comfort to Brennan. This, for me, was a lovely chapter.
