Just wanted to go back and say thi chapter made me laugh a ton, especially the early segments. "Wanna touch it?" Yeah, the nonexistent belly button, great.
Though tbh real umbilical cords are groooosss as hell. Look up a picture. They look like white-yellow alien slugs attached to our flesh. That's where our belly buttons come from. Vale avoided a gruesome fate.
(Jk. In reality... Urgh. I don't even want to say it. I just hope that this boy is able to figure out what he wants to do, and it won't end up in anything catastrophic.)
(On that comment. Also. Ezra! Ezra! I want to see Vale and Ezra talk properly! I'm so curious! And I think at this point, Ezra doesn't know about her heritage? Heck, /I/ didn't know about her heritage until reading this and then some wiki stuff about Irene. It's been a while since I read fairy tail and never read it to the end... Anyway, I feel like reveals here are bound to be full of interesting stuff!)

This was really great. I'm glad I read this. And don't worry, ending on the reunion was perfect.
With Vale... It makes perfect sense to me now as to why he's still loyal to Zeref. Zeref was the one who rescued him out of that darkness after all, after just hearing his voice cry out. He was given a body because of Zeref and Irene. It makes me sad though, and I'm glad the reunion happened earlier than expected, because it means he has another excuse to stay. I hope he doesn't leave. He fits into Fairy Tail and he's been happy here. It sounds like he wasn't very happy before.
Very great story. I'm looking forward to the sequel, when you are able to get to it, author-san. Some tears beaded in my eyes from thi last chapter. It was very nice, but with a distant bittersweet tang to it as well. It does show how good of a liar Vale is too, for now I remember the moment he questioned if Jur thought he was a spy.

Parts 1-4: VALE IS AWESOME
Part 5: Vale is... scary? Yeah, holy crap he's scary.

I haaaad a lot of thoughts before part 5 just blew me out of the water. But I shall share them regardless.
"Because I'm originally from another world, I thought this would be the best place to go." - this was honestly great. I just love him straight-up admitting it. And it makes perfect sense and is believable in the context of Fairy Tail.
And making Romeo smile! Woohoo!
Also. The way Vale manipulated that first conversation to get eeeexactly what he wanted while appearing like an innocent child was very cool. Very smooth. (At least it was cool until part 5 and I became concerned )
You are really talented/skilled in writing cool scenes, and just making a very engaging overall flow. The way these five parts came together was just... wow. Every scene was awesome. Until the last one was scary. Eheh. And Vale also has a really cool and interesting power set, one which I suspect is a littttttttllllleee overpowered for his age.
And noooow I'm also wondering, what the heck are Vale's motives!? I could get behind the whole "let's make fairy tail great again, I like these characters", but now... :') Now, while I trusted him blindly like everyone else during the hair-collecting session, I kiiind of worry about the mysterious benefactor, and just... everything. At least, it seems, his side aligns with Fairy Tail's. At least for now. Hmmmmmm.
