Is the Doom Slayer nerfed in this story? Because if not, then the lore Doom Slayer would have no trouble taking out both Batman and Deathstoke, and nothing they could do could hurt him.

Awesome intro.

Hope that VEGA appears in the next chapter and tells our caped duo the history of the Doom Slayer.
Wonder if Dr. Fate and Klarion know who he is, with Klarion, upon finding out that DS is there, he full blown has a panic attack in front of the other Light members.
Another thing, if VEGA is active; could he take control of AMAZO and that Nanite Fog, thus not only gaining new weapons but also physical bodies to interact with the world?
In the case of the Fog, he could do a body like the Walrider from the game 'Outlast'.
The same with all other villain robots.

Though question when did Doom slayer appear in the DC verse of Young justice? Is it before or after ep 1.
Because I vote for Doom Slayer being the parental figure to Super-Boy as Superman has been say...distant to him at the first season for lack of a better word...plus of being a little bit of a jerk.
Plus I just thought of a funny scenario of since the Doom slayer is say taking care of the team of young heroes I can imagine if the teenagers decided to sneak out to either have fun or get on a mission and when they return, the lights turn on and you see Doom slayer being the chad he is just sitting on the comfortable chair either having a knife and a block of wood to carve something, or his trusty shotgun in hand but he is cleaning it, or hell he be stroking Wolf's fur as he lays down by his side like he is a calm villain with the cat in lap.
Plus since Connor is angry boi at the beginning, I can see Doom slayer giving him the good old tough love...Night Sentinel style.
Which question if Connor is ever going to be like a son to Doom slayer would it be possible for Connor to adopt the Night sentinel culture taught by Doom slayer where eventually as a sign of being a man or hell a birthday present later on...Doom slayer gifts Connor his own uniquely style armor that is Night sentinel origin, plus one for Wolf as he is good boi, doggo and deserves the best armor for protection.

For a minute I thought the Doom Slayer was gonna throw hands with superman but didn't, still was a blast to read. It'll also be interesting what he thinks of beings that are almost if not as strong as him. Anyway great chapter hope to read more.
