Honestly it’s fucked up that he would apologize when he did nothing wrong! Also if I was Harry I’d not forgive hermione so quickly or tell her about the study group! Also I get being muggle raised may make things appear weird to Harry but I would have asked after help with the bow and how to address people he should have asked Neville to teach him whatever he knows about high society etticate!

MOST EXCELKENT beginning to what's shaping up to be a great new take on a very old hole in the HJP Tapestry.

so where is dumbles did he pull a runner or something you would figure he would have called harry to his office by now for a chat about the will.

This was a masterpiece. Felt a bit was left out in reference to Camelot and the Goblins, but I think that I just was focusing on different aspects of the story than was intended.
The character development and world building in this story was absolutely masterful. I also liked the well thought out government aspects. Most stories tend to gloss over it or just change stuff whenever it would make the story easier .
Now I'm on to find the next story

No see the thing with the whole Dumbledore actually thought he gave Harry to a loving family is absolute bs in Dumbles bashing fics lmao. He is shown to clearly have no problem memory charming or confounding his fellow wizards and witches (not to mention, witches and wizards whomst he considers friends or at the least allies)! So why would he have any issues memory charming or confounding or whatever to the Dursleys to actually love and care for Harry… So Dumbles is straight up lying to himself in this inner monologue lol

Really enjoyed this story. Such rich world building.
Just felt like the ending was a bit rushed, but then again, if you added more, it would feel like it needed a whole new story.

Fire your beta. They don't know the difference between "to" and "too", "supple" and "subtle", "reward" and "award", etc. Being a beta is more than just using spellcheck, and your beta has consistently let you down.

Really enjoyed this story. You did some things with a few characters that i hadn't seen yet in my relatively short time in the HP fanfic world. The one complaint is that i almost wish you had split this into two books so you could expand a little more. I know you talked about the time skips in an A/N, but they were a little jarring some times. But overall, it's a very good story. Well done and thanks for sharing!

This Harry...is a dullard. Not much different than the canon Harry. Gonna need so serious Amor- ex- Machina to become a respectable sort

This is a really good story, and I like even like the slow burn relationship with Daphne and Harry. Though Neville and Tracy’s relationship magically matching them step by step is way too convenient… a little too reminiscent of the cannon “big happy Weasley family” ending to the series, which was by far the weakest part of the books.
