It's actually really sweet that Sullivan momentarily worries if Rimuru is feeling okay herself. He'd probably worry a lot more if he knew that Rimuru used to be human, and certainly not one predisposed to violence. And as a ruler, he seems to have become a lot harsher towards his friends. Even if he tries to play it off as a given that he does what he does, he's changed for the worse.
Iruma sees it; he hasn't been around for long enough to see Rimuru changing, but he's the closest person to Rimuru who's not blinded by loyalty, and has an idea in his head that Rimuru must have been different when he was just a regular human.
The question is, does Rimuru see it also? Rimuru seems to think he's just going through the motions of his position, and with how much depends on him, he might not feel he has much choice.
I'm looking forward to seeing whether Sullivan can get Rimuru to open up at all, when they talk!

How could Rimuru's territory be doubled? Tempest is already one of the largest territories of the continent going by the manga, and Darmangania would presumably be some minor nation unless you're assuming a very different world map to canon.
Of course that might mean Rimuru's *personal* territory, as Tempest is a federation containing many pre-existing territories such as the lizardfolk and rabbitfolk, and Rimuru wouldn't directly rule much of the country since that'd be a nightmare for him. But even so, it'd be odd for annexed territory to go directly under Rimuru's control instead of some lower-level ruler.

Ha XD Lumimous seems to have forgotten a critical rule: don't blackmail Rimuru on a bad day. That said, the interaction was very fun to watch! Veldora's and Diablo's punishments, in contrast to Beluran's, were very funny and did a great job of highlighting Rimuru's duality as a character. Poor Iruma, I'm glad he got to talk to Sullivan. I wonder how this experience will affect his interactions at school (betcha Kalego picks the worst time to irritate Rimuru, something Iruma really doesn't need right now.) Sullivan and Opera's thoughts are very interesting too! Opera's been scared of Rimuru since day 1, so I bet this is validation for him. I'm glad Sullivan still seems to trust Rimuru, and hasn't forgotten what Rimuru really is; I wonder if Rimuru will divulge some of his past in their talk?
Also, I suddenly realized recently that the dream Iruma had in chapter 41 is Rimuru's experience coming back to Tempest to find his people slaughtered! I couldn't figure it out for the longest time, and because I haven't seen Welcome to Demon School I just assumed it was a reference I was out of the loop on. It seems not! Now I'm SO curious about where you'll take that.
I know a few others have left reviews along this line, but here's my two cents: someone suggested Iruma attending a class on Demon Lords and Primal Demons a while back, and I think that sounds like so much fun! If you ever feel like doing it, you have my vote.

Funny, exciting, intimidating, heartfelt-you've done a great job here, and the weekly updates have not only made the story more enjoyable but earned you my respect! So thanks!

I'm relieved Iruma is okay enough to not cause a scene in front of the demon lords, though I look forward to his conversation with Rimuru. I'm really glad you took some time to detail the actions between the demon lords at Walpurgis! It's so interesting to see, and I was surprised to see Rimuru plotting to overtake a country... but at the same time, it seems like something he would do. XD

You…my sir, have caught my interest, I look forward to the rest of the chapters and seeing the plot, and so far I love the fact there is what I consider bare minimum on the details in the sentence as far as reincarnated slime fanfics go.

Great chapter! Now to see what has Diablo recorded that it was so important... and Iruma is having doubts about if Rimuru is a good person or not... maybe a bit of that can be dispelled when he learns about what started the war with Falmuth. And Veldora as always screwing when it comes to Luminous was hilarious!

Damn.
I decided to give this story a try due to the severe lack of good TenSura stories and ended up binging the entire thing!
Really didn't expect I'd end up enjoying this as much as a I did but here I am. Plus, you wrote this on a weekly basis and consistently for how long?!
I realize that my comment here won't be in time to have any impact on the next chapter but I still want to voice some thoughts.
For this chapter in particular, I really like that Iruma got a taste of the "Demon Lords" in comparison to the somewhat goofy first impression they might have given him. Sure, he was scared already of people like Guy but I feel like on a subconscious level they came across more casual, with Chloe saying the Leon isn't that bad and Rimuru in general downplaying a lot of them. Not to mention Rimuru himself.
My one criticism here is that Beluran remined defiant until the end. Even the other demon lords had to brace themselves for Rimuru's unleashed aura yet this guy, just a demon lord seed, was able to withstand it? Even if he was just putting up a front how is he even fine at all?
In general, I kinda wish the guy wouldn't have acted tough anymore after getting beaten by Rimuru. Not necessarily full on begging for mercy but still being more, how should I say, submissive maybe before Rimuru kills him.
Because Rimuru already gave him multiple chances to back down and at this point he entered a death match with a sitting Demon Lord, there is only one outcome and Rimuru, being a Demon Lord himself, respects that part of the job.
I think the impact would have been greater if Rimuru had pulled through with this even if killing him had no longer been "necessary".
Lastly, I do hope this potential issue between Rimuru and Iruma (who might now be a bit more scared of him) isn't just casually resolved.
Iruma was already connecting the dots on what Rimuru did with Falmuth back during Hinata's lessons. Plus he's been given a lot of hints on what Ultima is like with her referring to her captive as a new toy as well as Gobta's reaction on working with her. He had a lot of 1-1 interactions with people but not really with the demoness trio yet (beyond when he was given everyone's backstory)
He could come to realize that Tempest is basically a de facto dictatorship under Rimuru given that every branch of government has absolute loyalty to Rimuru.
Basically, I'm hoping Tempest ends up scaring Iruma a lot more
