Damn.
I decided to give this story a try due to the severe lack of good TenSura stories and ended up binging the entire thing!
Really didn't expect I'd end up enjoying this as much as a I did but here I am. Plus, you wrote this on a weekly basis and consistently for how long?!
I realize that my comment here won't be in time to have any impact on the next chapter but I still want to voice some thoughts.
For this chapter in particular, I really like that Iruma got a taste of the "Demon Lords" in comparison to the somewhat goofy first impression they might have given him. Sure, he was scared already of people like Guy but I feel like on a subconscious level they came across more casual, with Chloe saying the Leon isn't that bad and Rimuru in general downplaying a lot of them. Not to mention Rimuru himself.
My one criticism here is that Beluran remined defiant until the end. Even the other demon lords had to brace themselves for Rimuru's unleashed aura yet this guy, just a demon lord seed, was able to withstand it? Even if he was just putting up a front how is he even fine at all?
In general, I kinda wish the guy wouldn't have acted tough anymore after getting beaten by Rimuru. Not necessarily full on begging for mercy but still being more, how should I say, submissive maybe before Rimuru kills him.
Because Rimuru already gave him multiple chances to back down and at this point he entered a death match with a sitting Demon Lord, there is only one outcome and Rimuru, being a Demon Lord himself, respects that part of the job.
I think the impact would have been greater if Rimuru had pulled through with this even if killing him had no longer been "necessary".
Lastly, I do hope this potential issue between Rimuru and Iruma (who might now be a bit more scared of him) isn't just casually resolved.
Iruma was already connecting the dots on what Rimuru did with Falmuth back during Hinata's lessons. Plus he's been given a lot of hints on what Ultima is like with her referring to her captive as a new toy as well as Gobta's reaction on working with her. He had a lot of 1-1 interactions with people but not really with the demoness trio yet (beyond when he was given everyone's backstory)
He could come to realize that Tempest is basically a de facto dictatorship under Rimuru given that every branch of government has absolute loyalty to Rimuru.
Basically, I'm hoping Tempest ends up scaring Iruma a lot more

i just realized... if rimuru is immune to projectiles then a battle between us will end in a stand-off unless its a battle to the death or he takes away the respawn button ._.

Oooh, yeah, I wanna see what exactly the primordials are as far as the Netherworld is concerned, as well as the Cardinal World. They certainly know about primordials and demon lords, and thus that there are numerous beings on par with or even beyond a demon king.
I guess to them, the Cardinal World would be kinda like Mount Olympus? A nigh-unreachable location with incredibly powerful beings of myth.
Plus, it's likely that some demons have been to the Cardinal World and back again, given their very accurate understanding of True Demon Lords. They might know about TDLs from elsewhere though, there could be some that appeared in other magically-rich dimensions (or even the Netherworld), but more likely it's Cardinal World TDLs that they're familiar with. Imagine how awkward a lesson on those would be, either the info would be horribly out of date or Rimuru would be saying "I swear, it's a really common name"

That was inevitable, and now we get to see Iruma's perspective, hopefully he is told soon not just of the Falmuth massacre, but perhaps the war with the Empire too. His presumed friend playing arbiter of souls with hundreds of thousands of lives might not go over too well with his humanistic morals. That clash of ideals might too pave the way for evil Iruma, who knows.. Depending on how much of his actions are conciously chosen by him, Ciel may just say he is not under any influence, and non-interference might be the right play, until that too goes awfully wrong. I think I like where this is going :)

Phew! That was intense o.o I had a feeling Iruma would be upset about the execution... this is definitely going to strain his relationship with Rimuru. Iruma is going to need some therapy with Ameri, stat; or at least Sullivan or Opera. Good to see Beluran get his just desserts though! I'm impressed by how arrogant he was the whole time. The whole bit from Rimuru that came after "apologize," "so what?" was *chefs kiss!*

Rimuru brings a kid in his care to a Walpurgis that will likely end in an execution, pretending Iruma is is him as some sort of absurd "test"
Then he violently toys with Beluran in front of Iruma, even as Iruma begs Rimuru to stop
And finally Rimuru kills Beluran against Iruma's wishes, using the endangerment of Iruma as an excuse
Rimuru is a completely sane individual who can be trusted to look after kids, yep, not affected by years of war or anything

Iruma really needs to learn that even if Rimuru didn't kill Beluran, one of the other Demon Lords would have done it anyways because Beluran insulted them all, not to mention that he came with the intent to kill at least two of them, considering that he said Heptagram, which means seven. There's also how he proudly declared that he intended to kill anyone he saw as inferior to him, aka everyone because he saw even the Demon Lords as weaker than him.

Eeeek! It's here! It's finally here! The moment Rimuru confronts Beluran! And I've got to say, you NAILED that dramatic reveal (I'm just dying to see Beluran's reaction.) Part of me is nervous that Beluran actually had a good reason to be confident, because he can't really be THAT much of an idiot, right? ...but considering the nature of this story, he probably is. I have to wonder what Beluran's attendant will do; be astonished that Beluran isn't the strongest person in the world? Try and interfere? Beg his master not to pick a fight he can't win? (Though it's clearly too late for that; Rimuru's out for blood.) I'm equally excited about how Iruma attending this Walpurgis will affect things in the Netherworld. Imagine Henri's or Ameri's, or even Sullivan's reaction to hearing about the power of a demon lord!

Great chapter again, time for Beluran to die! Based on what he knew about Beluran's personality beforehand I'm actually a little surprised Rimuru thought to take Iruma along. Like what are the odds that he ever left a Walpurgis alive, even before we got to see him this chapter. I'd be interested to see Rimuru address that side of things internally, if he's about to kill someone in front of Iruma. Did he really not consider it? Does he just underestimate the impact it might have? Is he angry enough to not care? I'm interested in his thought process here. Looking forward to next week!
