Steph's internal monolog is great here! You just know this character always indulges her mind's wanderings before getting down to business, and catch phrases would be a Rangeman technique that would work for everyone but her. The scenario and putative reason for it were both consistent with the SP universe which I always appreciate. The explosive conclusion justified the yelling and made me smile, too Both Ranger's take on what would have happened in "reality" and what was going to happen next were worth the wait. Thanks for writing.

Love the one shot off the FB challenge. Very well written made me smile. Bomb diffusing?! yikes so much stress as we all know explosive ordinance guys have weeks of training little robots to help them and padded bomb suits. Oh and they get hazard pay too. so go Stephanie clipping away with just some pliers! Loved it was just pink dye. I can't believe they actually handcuffed poor Hector to the chair. They own him a pizza.

Love love love this lil one-shot. You struck a perfect tone that had us legitimately worried at the beginning, although without sacrificing the perfect Plum wit and humor. And then the humor and hint of steam at the end - love it! Great work with such a wonderful and complete story in so few words.

Yeah, it definitely should be the kind of training she should have, but a dye pack? Really? At least it wasn't red. That would have been unforgivable.
