That was fantastic! Bad writing always puts me off stories, no matter how good the plot is, so it was refreshing to see a novel-length fanfic that was so well-written! You really fleshed out the characters and had enough mystery to not make everything obvious. Very nice! I found myself wishing for this in movie form because I was so entranced.

HOLY CRAP! This is AMAZING! I absolutely loved how you portrayed everyone and was on edge throughout the entire story. In the words of Syndrome: I'm still geeking out over it!
I would love to see a snippet of their first kidhopefully a sequel?

Usually when I see a fic with more than like 10 chapters I immediately bail so I'm very surprised to be here today. This is the longest and most frustratingly slow fic I've ever read in my life. But for some reason I stuck around for over 2 weeks between classes and work and life to read all 600 pages. I went through every emotion possible and literally every chapter had a plot twist which normally would be a sign of bad writing but is actually thrilling when done well.
The dialogue was painstakingly prolonged in the most beautiful way- I absolutely love your sense of humor (especially the banter between Vi and Buddy) and the eloquence in descriptions; on top of that everything seemed very much OC. I have always felt a connection to Violet since I first watched this movie when I was a kid and I love the path you took with her story. The new characters were also great additions and I could picture every scene perfectly in my mind. It was expertly paced and I loved the focus on the little moments that really made me love the characters.
I don't know what you do in the real world but I hope you never give up writing even if you never publish anything publicly again. It reminded me why I used to love writing. This must have taken lots of research and work and dedication and you did an amazing job, for real.

Her reaction to the kid.. she believes she ruined the life of the kid by taking her mother away. The mother who attempted to mass murder for shits and giggles including entire families.

Getting her kid away from her is the best thing possible. How the hell is she feeling bad for the kid by taking the murderess mother away from raising the poor kid? The kid most likely to be neglected, f'd up, or raised from childhood to be a villain and killer.

Her altering her life over that is absurd. Ruining? Wth ruining.

Gonna give this a read despite looking like it's only been commented on by the same person. Shit luck in drawing attention though.

Stories like these though need ways of giving people an idea of what they're about. The sites lack of genre tagging and such it would be nice if page one had a general description and tags on any stories posted.

Right now though I need sleep.

Wow. Just… Wow.

I freaking love this fic, I’ve been reading it over the last few days (slow reader here) and was miserably (but still enjoyingly) counting down the chapters, I was deliriously giddy when the count went up with the newest chapter.

The way you write is fantastic, the emotions behind the characters are detailed and expressive, Buddy’s smug quips are extremely entertaining and Liam is awesome, I love the camaraderie between them and Mirage.

Absolutely love the science/medical side, the positraction bit reminded me of the film My Cousin Vinny lol.

Like Violet, I was totally focused on Mr Incredible that Elastigirl went completely under my radar. Violet’s confrontation with her was great, the way she started had me gobsmaked, I definitely giggled at that. I’m looking forward to Mr Parr finding out, I was really surprised at his scene on her birthday, it didn’t seem like something he’d do, it was actually rather sweet and I half expect him to turn round and tell Violet that he already knows, figured out where her heart lies.

I can’t wait until the next update! Absolutely fantastic fic!

Wow. What a ride! I had no idea how much can happen in one chapter! XD This is brilliant, Syndrome's character definitely had a lot of 'wasted' potential and it's lovely to see a softer side, well, it was certainly amusing to see his snark back in action XD I loved how he spoke in the movie, found it fascinating and I like the relationship you're building between them, it's really intense for Violet to see the two sides of him; the victim and the tormentor and reminds me a lot about other 'villians'...I have to say, I did cringe at the thought of him still being alive after being sucked into a plane's turbine and a car full of gasoline thrown at him. Yet, it's undeniable that he IS a mass murderer and DID try to blow up a parent and two kids in a plane...man you're doing a very wonderful job of trying to make me forget that XDD I like how Violet tried to escape and am intrigued as to how/why she was able to recover faster than others - I think 'youth' is just the tip of the iceberg. I wonder if Paul is secretly a super? Or he's just like Syndrome in that his talents lie in science. Interesting, very interesting.
I also wonder where Ultra lies in all this...

I am SO excited for more! Thanks again for publishing this fic! :D

This is SO good. Oh my goodness. First time reading Incredibles fanfiction, and I do *not* regret it at all! I love the spin/take you've got on Violet, it really resonates as a person who comes from the same 'too empathic' side to see it taken from a superhero point of view! I love what you've done with all the characters, how they've developed and I really adore the new ones, JackJack all grown up (or nearly grown), the mysterious Ultra and 'Mr Mysterious Bike Rider' ;), and Robbie! I think it's genius to have new supers paired up with older ones and how Violet is characterised *so* well when trying to live a normal life, feeling envious of someone like Mike, rather than Dash. Her values definitely are really well written in and I think it was hard to see the consequences of trying to be the 'hero' when it's a hollow victory when you see a child just wanting their parent. All these questions left from the first movie are just so well answered in this! Can't wait to read more! :D
