That last entry though. I just saw someone commenting about Ash getting his dad's Persian, since he hasn't gotten a Normal-type yet (I'm personally hoping for either Stoutland or Drampa). Maybe his Rhyperior too, since I think he should have gotten one anyways (no other Ground-type fits him properly), unless you want to do something with Taimu's Rhydon, and Ash getting it's kid or somethin'.
Also, is Ash going to go back to Johto to watch the Silver Conference, and perhaps get Larvitar's egg? Since Gary's got what we can assume to be Larvitar's mother, Ash can keep him, and evolve him into a Tyranitar as his Pseudo-legend? I'm assuming that you're trying to give Ash 'mons he didn't have in canon, but since he has Pidgeot, perhaps it's just prominent ones that didn't get shafted? So I'm pretty sure that makes one like Larvitar and (possibly) Gible count.

Damn. Didn't realize how much I needed the Brooks chapter, it was so long ago that I respected his effort in the conference and no one else of Ash's opponents.
But the highlight, Venusaur. That was far and away the best of these chapters, partially because of the emotion tied to the event. Venusaur was poorly matched to deal with dozens of competent pokemon supplemented by an elite tyranitar. But the chapter made it clear that venusaur was as much a champion as oak's Dragonite or Alakazam.

That last entry with Persian was especially interesting. Also the idea of Ash getting Persian or another one of Giovanni's old pokemon I find incredibly interesting. I wonder what sort of expression he would make.

Im actually surprised there wasnt any from Infernus POV. I would have loved to read his thoughts on his trainer touching him for the first and last time. I also would have loved to see the final confrontation between Agatha and Oak.
