I really don't understand why everyone seems to think you need to shove a bunch of skills at Percy. Throwing Knives are useless, they are only effective against small or human size soft targets. Any large monster will be able to shrug them off like nothing. Not to mention they lack the necessary power to deal any significant damage.

I can't keep going... despite all of Percy's powers and knowledge, and the previous changes from canon, you are desperately clinging to canon, and it's boring as f. This started out well but once he got to camp, I already started losing interest, but this is the breaking point, sorry.

I've realized that Percy is such a fucking push-over despite his power. As soon as someone (i.e. piper or annabeth) disagrees with him, he buckles and just agrees to whatever that person wants.

Just finished reading this and loving it. Don’t find many well written Percy jackson story’s nowadays. Glad to give this story a go. Time for some sleep because spent from 3am to 9am reading this. Can’t wait for next chapter.

Good story, I just don’t know how I feel about all the changes. You could have easily done the same stuff with fewer changes like the pearls and such. What happened to Percy swearing another oath of needed?
