You actually fall for the rule crap? man I've been on this site since 2008 and have seen millions of stories and plenty are technically going against at least one or two rules at the same time. Honestly there's no need to move sites or even fear posting. But maybe I'll come find you over there on Ao3 even though honestly that site/app sucks 100x worse than this one lol

I still don’t know how I feel about the ending, even after all this time.

The version two thing is interesting. I wonder about the consequences. It would be interesting to see if Danny stops being a hero and tries to move up to Canada, because to be honest given how you wrote it there isn’t a lot for him in Amity.

And so the inevitable meeting occurs.

So Lilith's getting along with her folks as much as Sam did with hers when she was a teen.

Sam and Elliot seem to be acting like Amber's parents from your Thrones story.

I knew they should have destroyed the crown long ago. Now we know who had it.

I understand Dan thinking Lilith was playing him for a fool, but the rest of it... I'm confused. Okay, we start out thinking Ida tried to save her friendships with those two, but one of them died. That's proved to be wrong. She was obsessed with being with one person, and went to extremes to be with that person. Result: the gang broke up. Her son knew about this and tried to be peacemaker while trying to keep Sam away from Danny, afraid it'll be deja vu. Unfortunately, Ida had influence on Sam, and it ended up being deja vu. Right? Then what's this whole curse about? And Ida taking the crown - she wanted to control things from the get-go?

So Sam and Elliot spent more time with their jobs than being parents.

So Paulina and Tucker tried to play peacemaker between Sam, her relatives, and other family members, but that blew up in his face because of Sam.

So how are Sam's parents still causing problems?

Looks like Dan's family are okay with Lilith.

Here's the second part of the confusion - Sam not being a part of Lilith's life. I can understand to a point, but wouldn't she want to be a part of her daughter's life? Be there to be a grandmother to Lilith's children? Or is she afraid she'll become another Ida and decided to stop. Stop blaming others now. Accept that everything that happened to her was because of her choices and decisions. So for the first time in her life and her daughter's, she's truly acting like a mother and doing what's best for Lilith.

Wait. Are you saying it was a mistake for Sam to fall in love with Danny? A mistake to be his friend? I don't think that's the case for the latter. Like I said at the beginning - those three made a good team at the time. Had they been able to resolve their differences differently, they'd still be good friends like in your Thrones story.

And now for the final part of the confusion - what do you mean plan C. Lilith put the crown on herself and then on Sam's head at some point?

The ending left me somewhat confused as well.

and so it all comes to an end everything has come full circle. I am rather happy to see that sam learned from her mistakes and was able to let go in the end for her daughter. Really loved this story all the way through and so happy I could see it from beginning to end.
