The plot twist felt kinda forced. It gets rid of the emotional buildup that happened in the prior chapters. Would have been better if you dropped subtle hints in previous chapters. This chapter ruins the tension and undermines the character instead of it being a wake up call. Especially since he’s been getting played around with since the very beginning. I know changing canon events make for a more interesting story, but it still doesn’t explain Vali’s traumatic experiences from getting beat by his father and the mother getting emotionally and physically abused in canon. I’m a fan of plot twist, but this didn’t seem like the time and place for one.

Also, snape didn't get cucked because he was never in a relationship in the first place. what kind of incel mindset are you in to think those kinds of plot twist make sense?
