Now that's another unexpected pairing that you made work. The idea of Kyanna being Brooke's newest staff and potential plaything, well it's sure in character for Brooke and I wouldn't have thought it but Brooke makes some valid points. I like how Brooke's showing that she understands the drive to provide for kids but doesn't care all that much about them with her lack of interest in Kyanna's son's name.
I choose to imagine Kyanna took her offer, for two reasons. One, to imagine her second thoughts after meeting a certain one of her, um, coworkers. Two, even better, I'm imagining her and Audrey meeting around Brooke, having a "YOU'RE her niece?"/"YOU'RE her new help?" moment, and the mutual "oh HELL no" that follows is just...glorious.

I love the little mannerisms Brooke and Kyanna display - the nervous twirling of Kyanna's hair, Brooke's elbow napkins (hey, poor people could've sat at that table!) and her utter shamelessness as she cycles through a rolodex of 'P' names for Kyanna's boy.
I also like the cutoff at the decisive moment, leaving the reader to imagine what could be. Given her love of family and children, I wonder how Kyanna would react to being "the other woman" in someone else's marriage.
