Los medios y registros pueden validar la existencia de una mente conspiradora al agregar un valor estratégico en la caída de las rutas de viaje, ciudades y Mt. Gleinn. Aunque por el otro, le permitirá a Salem tener a más cobardes uniéndose a ella.

Porque siendo honestos, será cuestión de tiempo para que Yang crea que Ozpin y Beacon la está reteniendo, y puedo verla a ella desarrollando una actitud como la de Raven-Blake entre más se entere ella de lo que hace Gem y Roman, o que no le digan nada. Eso junto a todo el ambiente de Beacon (Nora, Pyrrha, Jaune, Cardin). Ella es demasiado terca e impulsiva como para soportar el juego pasivo de ajedrez de Ozpin.

So initially I had a feeling that maybe Crackler’s reveal was gonna be more like a “I am not Zangetsu” thing, but in further inspection… The Crackler is more like Violator to Gem’s Spawn.
Spawn the animated series/Comic book. Without context “Violator” and “Spawn” is probably pretty messed up lol
I liked the explanation even if it feels a tied bit brushed over. I guess Gem has more important things to worry about but it’s a major revelation that his past life was like… a super realistic dream basically.
I like how Grimm Eclipse and Merlot is being inducted to the lore. It’s something I didn’t see coming but makes perfect sense if Pietro wasn’t able.
Ruby cheering against Weiss in the trailer made me laugh hard.
Now the plot is starting to ramp up and get super interesting. There’s a bunch of separate moving papers all happening at the same time. We’ve got Gem and him saving Ruby. Yang at Beacon trying to kill Gem. Blake backstabbing Cinder, another thing I didn’t see coming, while also trying to kill Gem. The Blake one is really good to me cause beyond Blake’s own want for revenge she also thinks she’ll be doing the world a service by ridding the Salem of her pawns at the same time, because Gem bullshitted to Cinder a bit too hard.
That was probably my favorite part of the chapter.
Other than Gem’s oversight that Blake would use his bluff as ammunition to try and kill him, the fact that Blake isn’t just going along with Cinder’s plan and is actively trying to stop it I like a lot. It’s like what Adam simps pretends Adam when he was working under Cinder. Blake is actually a good person and isn’t gonna go along with destroying a whole Kingdom and she’s actively taking steps to undermine Cinder’s plan, instead of just going along with it because it achieves some selfish desire.
Good chapter. I really liked this one.

I'm gonna be honest every time Augur is shown the quality of the fic drops massively, which isn't the writings fault as clone saga are infamous for being shit for a reason. It's flawed as a concept.
He's a direct detriment to the story that isn't needed when you've already given the Mc a system that is less than useless but an actual direct negative on his growth while at the same time made the option to fix that basically impossible with every useful shard just teleporting into the hands of those who would hide them away. Not to mention the frankly stupid exp gains or worse, the fact it won't let him naturally train, which is beyond awful.
Realistically, the Mc is screwed as he went into an unfair situation, got an ability that crippled him and the other side just got a more competent version of him (who hasn't killed Ruby his biggest weakness for a most likely unsatisfying reason) 2 of these can make a good story with good writing which you have but all 3 and you get the later seasons of RWBY where the main characters need asspull after asspull just to stay relevant and just drag the rest of the story.
Or since I haven't fully caught up, Augur could have randomly exploded into non-existence, and the Mc got at least 1 useful shard.
Other than that, the characterisation is phenomenal as the mc interactions actually change the characters, and it's what is carrying the fic right now.

The ship for Blake and yang is messy since it was hinted at, but at the same time it feels like it was kind of forced by shippers since every volume with Blake and Sun was strongly hinting at them getting together and then poof the sun ship seemingly forgotten because why not. It's surprising, but acceptable. Now back to this, great stuff with Joey Arc winning a tournament unlike the original go Joey and he even befriended Nora and Ren cool. Whitley well he ended up being a fanatic who knew that the Slifer religion could be so thorough, hopefully Weiss can get her brother back. Happy seeing our favorite eldritch spawn getting his kickback against Salem and her minions (evilly laughs). And Illia please never change your perpetual suff-I mean commentary give everyone immense joy and so does your nonexistent love life and now you're an actual important character in the story even if you still a background character.

And to clarify why the tag is important, it’s because i was expecting just a rwby fic and that’s not what i got. Iit has non rwby elements that are making me feel misled and disappointed at reading all this yu-gi-oh stuff in the middle when I could be reading more about gemini saving the world of rwby in his own weird way. The tag makes it so others don’t end up the sam.

But the yu-gi-oh stuff it starting to piss me off. Half of this chapter was a damn card fight. It feels like pointless filler that doesn’t matter and is just used to get the word count up. If i were to subtract the entire card game from this it does not feel like two months of work.
At this point you should label this a yu-gi-oh crossover. This isn’t just a small reference anymore with gemini using the anime and card game for money. The characters of yu-gi-oh(slifer) have irreparably changed the world of rwby. That’s not just a funny reference or joke anymore.
I think I remember there being a poll on wether or not to leave the card games in, get rid of them, or put them in a separate thing if you wanted to see them. If your going to keep yu-gi-oh in here like this then put on the yu-gi-oh crossover tag or tone it down and have the card games separate for those that actually want to read through that wall of text that isn’t important to rwby.

Well. I find that scene funny mostly because of paradoxicality of saving someone's life through decapitation. I also have a scene of Gemini trying explain himself to Yang in my head. And you gotta admit, it IS the image of "it's not what it looks like" concept.
Ruby can train her semblance in Gemini's head. I haven't thought of that, but it actually makes a surprising amount of sense. Huh.
Now, I want to talk about Yu Gi Oh a bit. I've never seen the show. I have zero interest in it. Everything I know about it comes from memes and you. But I actually had genuine fun reading segments about it. I even read your side story with full crossover. I think it's compliment to your mastery as a writer, that you managed to pull me in. But! I think you leaning into it a bit too hard. Even if I enjoy it, I enjoy the actual story a lot more. It was more than fine when it was just means to make money, with odd duel in between, but now it feels like key component of narrative. I personally think it's bad, as it just isn't... fits. And I almost totally agree with you on issue of Blake's love life. I was actually rooting for Blake x Sun a bit. Bumblebee honestly just doesn't fit my mental image of their relationships. I'd only argue that Sun x Blake x Yang is an A- ship at best, as just Blake x Sun would be much better, and I feel like in reality it'd be around B, and that it has potential to make everything only worse.

Well. I find that scene funny mostly because of paradoxicality of saving someone's life through decapitation. I also have a scene of Gemini trying explain himself to Yang in my head. And you gotta admit, it IS the image of "it's not what it looks like" concept.
Ruby can train her semblance in Gemini's head. I haven't thought of that, but it actually makes a surprising amount of sense. Huh.
Now, I want to talk about Yu Gi Oh a bit. I've never seen the show. I have zero interest in it. Everything I know about it comes from memes and you. But I actually had genuine fun reading segments about it. I even read your side story with full crossover. I think it's compliment to your mastery as a writer, that you managed to pull me in. But! I think you leaning into it a bit too hard. Even if I enjoy it, I enjoy the actual story a lot more.
