Wow, good to see Viper isn't fully dead yet. Since the DVD finally came out 4 years ago, been happy to have all the memories back again, of the grey Defender, the red RT/10 and blue GTS, Joe and Westlake together (love them!), Frankie, and Julian. All the pre-September 11, 2001 innocence. I wished it would have continued on up to 2001-2002.
Though I must say, the part about Joe having a black Mustang made me a bit iffy. Because the show itself was supported by Dodge's parent company - Chrysler (or at the time, was part of the merger with Mercedes-Benz, so DaimlerChrysler). I might say, Chrysler execs probably would have frowned upon the main characters driving a car from other Big Three automaker (GM, Ford and Chrysler). That's why Frankie had a Plymouth Barracuda and Westlake had a Dodge Avenger and later the Grand Cherokee. Though I have to admit, the Chrysler cars at the turn of the millennium, other than the Viper, were quite unexciting. Plymouth was on its way out, the last car under that brand was made in June 2001.
But hey, good to see some Viper still being written, hoping to see more in the future.
