Your writing is largely good, but the basic premise on binding Cinder and Jaune is a huge jump for a starting point. After that things flow pretty naturally.

I love reading this late at night when it's all dark and quiet. Saw the chapter release in the morning but waited until dark to savour it. Well worth the wait.
