DW-Loved reading this story. Having Helen experience everything through Stephanie’s eyes was great. I couldn’t stop laughing. Nice to have a story where Helen doesn’t end up being the “evil” mom by the end of the story is a nice change. Loved the HEA at the end as well.

This was great! It had everything - laughs, smut and a HEA. I loved Frank channeling his inner Helen! I'll definitely reread when I feel like something short.

Two of the reasons I chose and continue reading the Plum series are the frequent LOLs and the ludicrous situations that somehow flow from the potentially mundane. This story produced both. It also has a Helen that seems more like my take on the book character. For added bonuses, amidst the laughs, each of the folks also evolves a bit here and a silently smirking but helpful Ranger gets the girl. Thanks for theafun ride!

That saying "walk a mile in my shoes" fits this story perfectly. So much fun watching Helen go along with Steph and Lula and then really get into catching the FTA after he hurt Steph. I was laughing as they were arrested and Helen got to hear slimly Joe proposition Steph to get out of jail. Nice to see Helen so polite to Ranger when he bailed them out. Bonus for the interlude between Steph and Ranger before Helen called saying she has the FTA under surveillance. How amusing to see Helen tackle the FTA while getting food in her hair and clothes and then Frank whining about why me and comparing her to other men's wives or daughters. Helen apologizing to Steph now that she knows what she sounds like was great. Perfect ending with Ranger wanting a new deal with them becoming committed as a couple. I have fun reading this. Thanks for sharing it with us.

Wonderful. I absolutely LOVED when Frank went off on Helen and she realized how she sounded to Stephanie and apologized to her. That was the best! AND that she got to hear how Joe Morelli actually speaks to Stephanie.
Loved Ranger's new deal, and that he had to clarify it when Steph thought he was just joking.
