I'm sure this has already been mentioned but in the books the ceiling is just enchanted to look like the sky outside (think glass roof)
Snow on the Gryffindor table can be explained by someone casting a charm to make it snow indoors whereas the Moody scene in the movie is just 'Mad Eye Moody being Mad Eye Moody - i.e. a paranoid old Auror'

nice different and with the weather thing very true and interesting.
but it seems like when harry is chewing the hall out he says it a disgusting way ...yet how it phased it like he is going to say more then goes on a different trangent and tells them off and clues them in to the fact they would be screwed if it wasnt for that moment and the potters deaths...
'' quite honestly i thik that as disgusting a way to honour the people who gave up their lives just so i could live''
i get he cuts himself off but it would of been interesting to hear that line of thought continued, cause it truly is a disgusting impolite pain filled and just morally wrong way to honor someone and such a tragdey as you can get...by labeling him the boy who lived and then basically holding a double celebration and forcing the kid to attend it and not telling him shit but the cookie cutter stuff or what you want him to know or the bare essentials . this whole story could even be used to go down your recent dark path...without changing anything...it just feels like it can go both light and dark or grey...it perfect a great setup and what this..does harry notice something about qurriel? or does he know something already...and clearly lily necklace is important. hope to see more keep up the great work
