I haven't even finished this story, but I just wanted to drop a review to let you know how much I like your story! You write really nicely about a difficult topic and your care and experience just oozes from your words! Thanks for writing :)

I think this is my third time reading this? And still enjoyed it as much as if I was reading it for the first time. This is actually incredibly rare because I don't really reread many stories, and even when I do I don't enjoy them as much as the first time. It's all to do with how you write these characters and the story itself. And while I found all of Loki's shenanigans hilarious, the ones I laughed especially hard at were the same ones that made me laugh before: The baby birds hatching from the eggs and Clint's frantic scrambling to save them before they hit the pan, the scene at the park with the Shakespeare performers, and the Audi eating other cars and tools in Tony's lab. I also have to compliment you again on how encouraging you made everyone with Loki and how he wasn't cast aside by anyone, even by Kurt and Hank who he attacked. Reading this wholehearted acceptance makes me so happy :'))

Goodness gracious, so many fics don't do justice to the chaotic cheer of Loki. I love how this one is such a brilliant mischief-maker XD Steve never saw the charcoal coming, did he XDDD

I wish more stories would be made the way you make them. I have seen some very bad stories where disabled people are considered quite stupid and referred to more like they are a different species, but you always keep such a beautiful level of humanity in your characters.
In Finally Belonging, you always make sure to convey that Loki is absolutely deserving of respect and love even if he doesn't interact or communicate in the same way as his friends. Once again, here in Runt or Not you didn't make the story about trying to "fix" Loki or something, which is fantastic. You let him be himself, and he's still a great character.

Oh my. I would be having my own fit about now if I had to put up with this. :D

Thanks for the update. :)

I was worried at the description this would be dismissive of or mishandle disability and was happy to see you draw from your experience. Looking forward to updates :)

I'm very excited to see how sign language works for Loki. As a fluent signer myself, it bugs me how a lot of people portray it. It's not just flailing hands, it's an art and a beautiful language. You've done a very good job so far at not giving in to stereotypes and I look forward to the next chapter.

I work with special needs kids and thought this was a very good description! One of the kids I work with is nonverbal and only speaks in clicks, squeals and other sounds, so some find it hard to know what they are saying. I've learned that illustrations, certain sign language and pulling me towards the intended goal help me understand what she wants or looks for. However, every student is different. I loved your story because it was accurate about how certain people grow and learn at their own speed- sometimes it's not going to be as much as others want, but that's ok. They're still people

Awwwwww this make me very happy and I’m glad to see representative of those with disabilities ( Loki reminds me of my little brother, he has sever autism and acts just like Loki)
