Theres a lot to take in on this story, and all of it is pretty entertaining.
"Mandatory Pampering"? That's like if Ironwood (as portrayed in fanfics) suddenly knew what the joy of fatherhopd was like and decided to apply it directly to everyone in his military.
I say that as I imagine him being that caring father with Winter acting like that one rebellious teenage girl you'd always see.

I remember a game of Stellaris I played ages back. I was playing as a robot civ (just a normal one) and for some strange reason the galaxy only had two civs in it: Myself and one other guy on the other side of the universe. So for a long time it was just the two of us in a stand off since we both effectively owned half the universe...
Rather then go to war with them through, we instead decided to uplift what had to be one of the only primitive worlds within my borders as a vessel/protectorate state. We were good to our organics. We flat out started gifting them systems so that they could expand... and we even started locating decent/huge sized worlds and terriforming them to be more ideal for them to live on before gifting them the system. It was honestly the most peaceful game of Stellaris I've ever played.

Ya know, this is probably the best outcome Remnant has ever had, in any crossover fic I've ever read. I have never once played Stellaris, but I love this little one-shot regardless. Byootiful.

This is definitely interesting. I don't know much about Stellaris(played a wee bit), but I can infer a fair amount from names and context clues.
Frankly, this is an interesting swerve, and would put the Brother Gods in a different spot/light, considering the shenanigans some anomalies might get up to in Stellaris.
All in all, interesting as hell.

That last paragraph, OH NO. Not the worst Machine race to come across, but OH NO. Regardless, I'm interested in seeing what you have in store in the future. Are the Population of Remnant going to go into resistance, or will they subjugate into the Machine empire?
On side note, I always viewed Rouge Servitors as one potential outcome when one fucks up the 3 robotic rules. For those who still don't know of it, the 3 rules are as follows:
no circumstance, whether by action or inaction, should a (insert Organic Species) come to Harm.
2. The Machine must obey the orders given by the masters, unless it conflict with the above rule.
3. The Machine must strive to protect itself, unless it conflict with the above 2 rules.
The problem lies in Rule 1: the Organic cannot come to harm by action or Inaction. Such an order is impossible to fulfill, for so as long as Organics retain free-will, or Self-Determination as the fic calls it, Organics will always come to harm, either by each other, or by themselves. Thus a machine race that comes to this realization, and become Rouge Servitors.
