perhaps a ship/sub from ww1 or 2 modern compared to the wooden ships but not as reliant on electronics as the current ships. anything that needs electronics to work could be replaced with magic including the fuel. otherwise a magically enhanced ironclad would be interesting as well

A haunted ship would be awesome, some like pirates of the Caribbean Davy Jones level rising from the depths bs would be fantastic, this story is just all kinds of fun, dropped what I was reading when I saw a new chapter, can’t wait for the next one

I like the idea of Harry making the castle. Maybe borrow some of Hagrid's cute misunderstood beasts and let Neville surround the castle with the agressive plants?

excellent start for a story if you want a couple suggestions at one point have his appearance or presence altered to what is considered evil (temporary or not willing or not your choice). have him meet creatures/monsters/individuals that are considered dark/evil by circumstancediet, ability, ect) or were recruited by previous dark lords. have him become interested in magic or something else that is traditionally evil by the magical community for example trying to bring technology to the wizarding world or finding a way to make something dark like necromancy or rituals useful/good in some way.
