Oh man, did I love Nancy getting up in the afternoon? You bet, I did...
I really wonder how you manage to write adult Nancy and Frank...it is a great achievement...I am still stuck with their teenage forms...
Will this story continue in Japan? It will be great, especially since you know Japanese...

Finally managed to get some time to read this, and I am glad I did...I can still hear my heart literally thumping...
What a great chapter...everything was so doubly overwhelming here...Frank's fears, his anger, Nancy's rush of emotions, Bess and George's concerns, to name a few.
That line, where Nancy wishes that she would better have listened to her heart than her brain, oh, oh, oh, I don't know what to say...
Not to mention the phrase 'cross seven seas'. I was humming 'Saat Samundar Paar' and everybody else in the room was probably wondering whether I had gone crazy...
And I especially loved the last scene...and I am too lost for words right now...

She isn't Nancy Hardy YET?! Hurry up, you two! I love how their kisses and caresses in bed are sweet, nothing raunchy. Especially love how he kisses her scars; we aren't meant to be perfect, we aren't meant to get through life with no hurt or pain, and Frank loves her with all of it. I LOVE the description of the guy in jail as "getting the help he requires," about rehabilitation rather than punishment. I am so not trusting this vacation! Francy will definitely find a new mystery in Japan. "enveloped by his love forever," awww, they like to be by themselves but they like time with friends/family too. Great story! You should be proud!

Pardon my delay, I was paddlewheeling up the Mississippi River on the biggest paddlewheel steamboat ever built! Otherwise I would have been the first one reviewing this most excellent story. Hospital scenes are quite frequent in this fandom for obvious reasons, but this one stands out because it also solves the mystery, through Jessica's story, also it ends with the reunion of Francy first, but also all the friends. Wonderful, sweet touch with the wedding ring from Egypt, first part of a disguise but now heading toward the real thing. I also like the contrasting theme of Ned as playing it safe, Frank as encouraging risk taking. Frank is absolutely correct, it is not Nancy putting her loved ones in danger, it's the bad guys...which is exactly why Nancy is working so hard to make the world a better place. A good choice for Frank to immediately tell Nancy that he loves her, a logical decision since Frank acutely feels the clock ticking, the detectives know that life is short. Also a lovely touch, Bess's stubborn ass!

what happened to Reston tho? was he caught or did I miss something? glad frank and Nancy finally got together but I also thought that the doctor was only letting in one friend at a time? sorry for the nit-picking. I just have questions but still a good ending!

I'm not sure which book Reston is from. I read the nancy drew files from the 80s/90s and only just started reading the OG books. the name does sound familiar tho. as for the dream, I know that book very well! one of my faves! Spies and Lies, I do believe. anyway, I hope Nancy is okay. I had a feeling she got shot but didn't say anything. good chapter!
