I loved this! Had to wait until I had a night without work distractions and could just enjoy. Almost wanted a glass of wine to go with it, but it's a nice treat on its own. I did listen to some of the tunes you mentioned (thanks for including those-I like when music adds to a mood in the story). I also thought this story was a nicer bridge from past to present (i.e., Burton) than what we got (SVU likes to move on like nothing happened). I might have thought, before reading this story, that them "getting together" at this stage was a bit soon, but I like how it was approached here. They openly admit things, agree to work on them, and their "getting together" is like a sweet interlude that encompasses their past, present and future, and not this monkey wrench thrown into their fragile relationship. I don't trust SVU writers with this kind of plot device, but only a talented writer like yourself. Thanks (as always) for keeping it real. Looking forward to your next posting!

Thanks for the story! I love that he was there for her and I like the gentle way they eased into this, feeling each other out. Despite everything that’s happened, the trust is still there and I’m glad El could be there for her as she worked through this. I always love thinking about their first time, after so much time has passed. Loved all the banter too!
